This is some half-spoilery stuff because it does get explained in the novels but isn't directly related to the plot, but Paul is insanely skilled and could've potentially been like one of the top four swordsmen in the world, but chose to live in relative obscurity so he could have a family with his wife

Apparently the animation studio working on this show was established solely for working on this show
Like they went and put it together just because the director and production committee wanted to get this series an anime

Even if the others were real she probably made it rubber since she didn't want to risk actually killing her sister
Since despite all this talk about hating her it's obvious she actually cares a lot about her.

Hori and Miyamura are obvious
But I think this green-haired girl will catch the purple guy on the rebound
And this pink girl seems to be tied to the student council president

It's probably just anime making everything cute as usual
But it feels pretty far-fetched to call the green-haired girl "Beast"
She's awfully cute in her own right
I'd even say she's more cute than the pink haired girl anyway.
But I can see why Pink's slim and slight figure would appeal better to some people.
