i only have egg
i need to finish up some house chores though, so there's no hurry
but if you want to watch it first or second that's fine too, it would just be easier if it was 3rd or later

The names for other worlds/dimensions in this series have really silly names, I remember that.
They're all just a bunch of nonsensical phonetics slapped together

A lot of characters in this series always have kind of dead eyes
Irises that are just all colour, no pupil are one of the more common ones the artist likes to use it seems

It's kinda funny since a lot of these characters were essentially bad guys in season 1

They all work for the same organization!
More rivals than outright bad guys
Though I think a few of them were a bit more antagonistic, yeah

Arms get taken out really often in these fights
I guess they're sensible targets since everyone fights with handheld weapons
Or seem to need hand motion to direct the floating light beams
But if you can get close enough to cut an arm, might as well go for a torso

How nice of them to highlight the elite mob with fancy black and red details

Most of the back end of the first season was a bit inter-organization ranking tournament and the invasion of that other alien army

this show is crazy

Going into dreams to defeat the manifestations of people's trauma is kind of reminscent of Persona 5 actually.

I wonder how beat up Ai will be after this venture
But maybe this time since it's not her dream

Ah nope, she's in the hospital so I guess her injuries reflect into the waking world still.
Man imagine what that must be for her mother though.
Her daughter keeps showing up each morning with various injuries
Refuses to explain where they're coming from
That's got to be kind of haunting for her mom

That's what you get for trying to hide out in a rotten old shack!

I really like this show's OP

Surely there's a less arcane and safer way to get to the Otherside than an elevator haunted by an evil ghost girl!

Maybe they'll figure one out
but that does seem like a pretty normal way to go to the other side

Oh yeah it definitely fits the bill
It just seems extremely cumbersome and, y'know, dangerous!

It must be disorienting though, to only have one eye that can see weird things
Something like that would really mess with your binocular vision

DESS

The way they have to go about with funny rituals like the stone-tossing to protect themselves
And the way the abnormalities all kind of operate on their own unique logic
It kind of reminds me of SCP stuff.
But that's probably not that weird, since SCP has its roots in creepypasta in the first place
And the things in this show are based off Japanese urban myths and creepypasta too

this one is freaky

Some times it's nice to get a bit freaky!

The smaller hands kinda look more like whiskers
And the whole thing is a bit like an armed squid

That would probably be a weird sight to see for some random person walking by
Just a small shrine like that bursting open and two girls that clearly can't fit inside it coming tumbling out

I wonder why they keep going there if it's so dangerous

It might be dangerous, but it's also kind of exciting, isn't it?
I dunno why Toriko is incentivized to explore but Sorao seems to have a bit of disdain for the mundane world and prefers the Otherside, despite the dangers.
And despite complaining pretty much every second she's there hah hah

Some times facing dangers is still worth it when you're just so utterly bored of normal life

I was thinking about that a few scenes ago

I'm particularly fond of Itsuki's outfit this episode
But my preference for turtlenecks is clear by now I'd feel

I get eventually Nino flips hard on her stance on Futarou but man
She's just always full-blast megabitch that I can't understand why people like her
Like it's not even tsundere at this point.

Itsuki's probably just crashing at his place
She knows where he lives after all.

He's still only at the point where he sees the girls as students and maybe some half-friends

Walking around outside in your pyjamas is really offputting to me

She almost made the classic "The moon is beautiful" line that the Japanese interpret on the same level as "I love you"
But she chose a phrasing that's close but not quite right.

I like her and Yotsuba the most
Miku's not bad since she's rarely an aggressor or problem-maker but that also makes her a bit boring.
Ichika's not really my type even if she's the "onee-san" of the five and Nino's just an unlikeable character

They're being surprisingly legit about this trial
I mean it's still kind of kangaroo court-y because this is a comedy anime but parts of it are weirdly reasonable.

For a city that was being plagued by giant evil monsters not three seasons ago, MIDI City sure doubts the reality of them.

They were like this first season too
they never take anything seriously

It makes sense
If a giant monster suddenly appeared in the middle of a city of course a bunch of the population would be taking out their phones and recording videos of it

But that said, it was the ricochet from Delmin's hyper beam that did launch the monster into the tower
So the girls are still kind of at fault for the destruction.

This episode has been very show by rock-poi

They really do like their silly antics

This looks like it might be a fun boyband too
Though not as high-energy as the two main ones.
