Hi hey hello Happy Monday At least this is another easy week

Man we've never really seen Courier seriously in action But I guess his reputation preceeds himself for a reason. He goes HARD
Anno
Swindler pulled her final perfect con though Only the cops knew she was an Akudama. To everyone else they mudered an innocent civilian on public television.
Really you can't blame Courier for caring more about his bike than anything else When you've got a bike that's that absolutely insane, of course it takes the highest priority.
The Executioners had some pretty crazy tech at their disposal. They look kinda spaceship-y but I think they're just like fancy helicopters/hovercrafts.
Wow he ripped the railgun out from the bike Looks like it was in no condition to work though
Anno
I guess this is one last present from Hacker though It seems like he knocked out the power in the entire region.
Anno
Well that was a really nice ending I mean everyone dying to get two kids to freedom is a heavy price But I think it represented that price in a sentimental way at the end there. And the series did a really good job of differentiating between what you selfishly think is for your best and what you selfishly think is for the best. The setting was fascinating and rich with detail and the characters were a blast. I really enjoyed that series a lot. It's rare to get a good anime original series. And we already got Deca-Dence earlier this year too! There's been some great anime-original projects recently.
It's really funny that their ultimate attack is basically a big ping-pong rally between everyone to build up power
Anno
They've got to show off all the girls from the franchise for the big finale I know some of them are from a LN series but I wonder if the others are going to be in the mobage.
Anno
Maybe they put a bit too much magic into that nuke
Anno
Hah hah hah wow That sure is an elegant way to parachute in
It shouldn't be, but yeah, I get what you're thinking. This feels like a big thing to drop with only nine minutes left in the show. Maybe this big nest attack can be cleaned up neatly in a few minutes though.
Anno
Honestly it could've benefitted from being two cour though. There's such a large cast that a lot of them kinda just got shafted, pardon the pun. With two cours they've could've focused better on specific girls with character episodes, which they kinda did, but at the price of the plot being kinda absent. They could've spent more time with the girl Riri adopted before she died And seeded the return of Yuyu's onee-sama as a hallucination villain a bit more and given her some more screen time.
Somehow their uniforms became this safety bubble they're in. I guess that's a neat function but yeah they're now just down to their underwear hah hah
Anno
Kind of a letdown despite all the lilies metaphors and yuri puns, that the show kinda ended up just being yuribait. Maybe there's not much space for romance in a battle series but they really toed the line a lot so not committing is kind of, eh.
Most shows really don't go much past yuribait mahouka Ookay lets start
Anno
I'm fine with yuribait on principle but there's a certain point where you go too hard on the insinuation of gayness that not committing does become a letdown. Like all those Kirara Time manga that get CGDCT anime adaptations, those are always yuribait and its fine because they don't really go -that - hard on the insinuation. But this show I think went too hard on the gay implications! Like imagine if Adachi to Shimamura ended up with no gay resolution. Which it might because well it's a one-cour adaptation of an LN series but I'm pretty sure the LN series delivers on it.
Anno
>Doubting if Onii-sama can do something How weak in your faith Though it looks like Onii-sama himself was doubtful anyway.
Anno
Geez dude you could at least ask permission first.
Anno
Descending in style!
Anno
It's this new girl's first day on the job and she's already being asked to leap off buildings hundreds of storeys high
Anno
Hah hah hah wow Of course You can always rely on an earthquake to make a bad situation worse when you're in Japan.
He's not wrong If the building has only a few minutes before it collapses, it doesn't matter if he gets the elevator fixed. The building would probably topple before the elevator had time to start up again and reach the ground floor.
Anno
I guess there are some limits even to Onii-sama's magical prowress.
It's times like this that having time-reversal magic would be a much better option than having to rebuild the entire tower.
Anno
Lap pillow!
Anno
Looks like they're capping off the season by teasing the new kouhai characters that'll be around for the new school year.
Anno
Kind of a bit of dancing around at the end of the episode there. Auntie and the butler were talking about "that" that the new girl had But was it just that letter in the end? It felt like something more important than just a letter of instruction to let her live with them.
I wonder if they'll wait another six years to do another season for this show.
Yeah I thought I heard that change too That's always a fun little change-up They used it to really good effect in JoJo's OPs in the past too.
Anno
Odin's kind of go a point He's practically in a gundam and she's just in a propeller plane.
Anno
Also if the engineer guy had made it obvious there was a new gun on her plane then Miyako would've totally jumped the gun with it.
Anno
So not only does she have to beat up god she also has to beat up her great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-granddad
I enjoyed the main cast a lot. There were a few times I feel they could've cut back on the silliness and focused on the story and action. Like that episode where it was basically twenty minutes of trying to get the girls back to their planes while they were all in swimsuits.
>>906290 Movies are a hard call since even if they release we need to wait for them to both get hardcopy release and then someone to fansub them, so it's difficult for me to keep track of what's coming out. Rika and I might be on track to finish the stuff we've been watching this season up with a couple days to spare though. If she's willing to we might be able to get a movie night in here or there. I've got a couple stockpiled still.
As OVAs go, I don't think there's anything that's like it's own contained thing. A few shows might get OVA episodes but I don't believe there's anything I know you've watched.
If you want a movie to watch on your own I can pull up my list of stuff that's come out in the past year or two now though.
naw not for on my own just meant if there's anything current i could catch with you guys one night if not it's fine it's not a big deal
Anno
Well these are movies I'd like to watch myself! It's just hard to nail Rika down some times hah hah As soon as shows are done she vanishes off and can't be found. Like I said though, there might be a night or two where we don't have anything to watch that might fit a movie. But it's hard to know ahead of time.
Anno
The way the characters in this show become pins with heads at times is always really funny. As far as stylized SD designs go it's a particularly lazy one.
Anno
Most of their unit is kind of a bunch of degenerates though. The MC is hella gay, one of them has a literal smell fetish, another one is yandere-gay Roko kinda bounces back and forth from being a bit sketchy to normal. Really it's just the blonde one that's consistently normal-ish.
It was actually fairly unique as both an aidoru show and a CGDCT things show. Mostly because of how it was lightheartedly lewd about stuff. Like it felt more comedic than actually fanservice-y, most of the time. And it had some kind of absurd stuff like the weird pee fascination. Maybe that's a personal taste of the author's. But either way it kept things kind of unique.
