The Red Angels were really itching for a conflict though. Like they didn't even stop to think it could be a set up. Anyone could kill one of them and then draw up the graffiti making it look like the G-Boys are responsible. It's not like the colour gangs are secret societies in Ikebukuro.
Yeah there's definitely something bigger going on here. That guy who shot King looked pretty wigged out too. Maybe he was just going crazy from the stress of planning to kill King. But he also kinda looks the same way the people in the first episode of this, way back when, were when they were hopped up on drugs.
Oh and there was a van incident in the first episode because of the drugs too. I'm suspicious these things aren't unrelated.

You'd think he'd at least ditch the rabbit jacket though As cute of a jacket as it is, it's a pretty unique piece of clothing. Doesn't exactly make him inconspicuous.

I guess even when they're not really intending to fight you can't really go far in Ikebukuro without running into a unit of the other gang. Ikebukuro geographically is probably not much larger than a large town. And while it's more of a neighbourhood inside of Tokyo, the gangs probably don't make much headway into expanding outside it.

The fuck is this Emperor though Looks almost unmistakably like a girl aside from the voice. And he's a ... foxboy? We haven't seen any other animal people in either faction in this entire series so where'd he come from.

The queen seems to play favourites. She seems to like her pink-haired daughter but felt kinda icier when she heard her first daughter returned. And she acted a bit mean to Alice when they interacted earlier in the series.

Pft They're getting scolded for overworking I guess this means we're getting a holiday episode.
Though really it kinda feels like in terms of screen time we've seen them on break as often as they've been on duty. Like Iska's always on break and going on dates with Alice.

The royal sisters really look nothing alike This one's all green-haired and heterochromia Alice is the ol' reliant blonde-haired red-eyes combo And the youngest is pink and fluffy.
Yeah she's cute. Alice is nice too. But pink's definitely got some quality fluffiness to her that others are lacking.

Maybe I was wrong, and their mother's on better terms with her daughters than I thought. I thought when she and Alice interacted earlier in the show that she was kinda cold to her.

That makes two sisters that have tried to get Iska to come with them to the Magic Kingdom now.
I think earlier this week the full versions of this girl's song, Sleepy-chan's song from last episode, and the short-haired onee-poi girl's song (should be next episode) came out. I want to go chase down Sleepy-chan's song because that one was really nice for me.

Rinako's seiyuu is good at putting just the bare amount of emotional inflection in her voice when she's in the no-emotions mode.

Well that's a mood I can really relate to though. Even when people offer to give help if it means having to open up and be honest. Then it's easy to just clam up and pretend everything's fine.
I think with the onee-poi girl next episode they'll finally get through the focus episodes. Though maybe they'll go back and revisit the girl who's a childhood friend of the MC, or the MC herself. Since they haven't really had any focus since like episode one.
Adachi and Shimamura have their weird quirks as friends, but these two are just really weird friends But I guess if you've known each other for like twelve years as good friends you probably start to get real weird.

If you can track down the ingredients, okonomiyaki isn't too hard to make. Though it might just be easier to look through Japanese restaurants in your city and see if any of them have it on the menu. It's a nice thing to try.

It does definitely feel like Taru is also crushing on Shimamura a bit When she first showed up I was worried she'd be a bit of a homewrecker between Shimamura and Adachi But even when hanging out with Taru she keeps thinking about Adachi and stuff. So it doesn't really feel like there's any risk.

In real life bears are actually fairly proficient swimmers I mean polar bears will swim in arctic waters and even dive underwater to hunt seals But even grizzlies and southern-er bears will swim in waters while hunting fish or chasing other prey.

Well she still needs to find it. It's out there, but at the moment the only port she knows of to sail out of is besieged by a kraken

Yeah it's about what I expected She's gonna trap the kraken in a contained space and boil the smaller portion of the ocean. Though I personally thought she'd have to make the entire wall around it herself. Instead she's got a nice little bay to do most of the work for her.
It looks like she's finally hitting her magic limits though. We've never seen her strain from casting magic before.

It's a pretty OP monster in of itself though Regeneration for its tentacles and being smart enough to try to escape the enclosure. Definitely the hardest fight she's had, even with the handicap she has of not actually having to fight it directly.
