I picked up the Rune Factory 4 port for the Switch the other day and I've been playing whenever I've got some free space at home. It's as fun a game as I remember it being. Thought the 3DS-era graphics might be a bit of a turn-off but turns out they don't look all that bad once you get out of the 3DS' 240p resolution hah hah

If we can do five tomorrow then four today will keep the list at +/-0 for the week. It might seem deceptively small but even setting aside Great Pretender (which I do want to get back to), we're still watching like 23 shows a week!
That said though we've been knocking away at all the stuff built up so it doesn't really matter if we go a week where we end up adding to the backlog.

Well this is between the army and the fire fighters, this squabble between the Lieutenant and Maki's brother. He seems a bit of an overprotective pain the ass really. Maki's shown herself as more than competent.

The Nether is basically the subway tunnels of pre-apocalypse Tokyo in this story. I suppose if you were to indescriminately destroy foundational supports throughout the tunnels you could cause catastrophic damage to the city above.
For a show all about a war they really spend more time going on dates and flirting than actually fighting.

Don't like how this other lady used them as cover to break into the prison to break out that guy and is still keeping them in the dark. The non-magic Empire side of this war seems to regularly use shady tactics and overall kinda act like dicks.

She's been pretty competent so far but yeah, this guy is probably on another level. Even just Alice will probably have a hard time with him. It'll probably take the tag-team of Iska and her to win.
From the sound of it before he got locked up he was going around beating magic users and stealing their magic. So he's probably got all the elements opposed to just one like the meido. And it also sounds like he was picking up high-level magic too.
Oh Iska was the one that got to save her. Maybe this will better her opinion of him.

I wonder where that pink girl is going to get the tech she's wearing for the live performances. She's got like a face-screen that has a face to emote with. It's pretty high tech compared to the piece of paper with a face on it she seems to use in normal circumstances.

Well that much was obvious as it was happening! She was still doing a good deed though, helping clear the way so the duke could safely arrive at the capital. It just happened that the good deed ended up being more than she intended it to be.
