Still not sleeping well because of Things or are you just up playing VIX too much

Black Clover Fruits Basket Gibiate Houkago Teibou Nisshi Koi to Producer Lapis ReLights The God of High School To aru Kagaku no Railgun Episode 18-19 Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai!
>>867674 It's had a few arcs I liked but they were more toward the beginning
Anno
Even if I don't really like something I'm pretty good at enjoying myself as long as something is happening in a show. This included. But filler is just so much spinning of wheels that it's particularly boring.
Anno
It's kinda funny they draw in the teeth detail of the Witch Queen's teeth when they're clenched but not when they're open. It makes for a really noticable phenomenon.
The problem too is filler's often written for the lowest common denominator, which in this kind of show, is like ten-year-old kids. So the plot's about as thin and straightforward as it comes.
I wonder who writes filler. I imagine the author has input but doesn't write all of it.
Anno
I know the mangaka of a series will some times write the script for the anime filler. Dunno if they do anything more like storyboarding, especially since most filler shows are weekly manga adaptations. This feels more like the author gave the anime staff some general ideas and character details to emphasize and just gave an "okay" during production.
yeah I feel like that's probably how most filler is done
Anno
Honestly I don't really blame them! Weekly manga writing is an exhaustingly intensive job. There's so many mangaka that work themselves to the bone that I'd be surprised if they had the chance to actually oversee the adaptation of their works.
Yeah, and I think jump wants it always running because they're searching for the big three again.
Anno
Clover's definitely one of their current staples. It and Hero Academia are probably the ones safest for long-running serializations. Aside from One Piece which will probably end either when Oda says it ends or when he dies.
boku no hero is great it's actually worthy of being big 3
okay high school play okay lets start!
Anno
Oh there's also Dr. Stone. I don't know how well it's regularly received but it seems to be in a comfortable position.
As far as newer series go there's Chainsaw Man which is a surprisingly gritty and vicious series for a Shounen Jump manga but it's also really interesting. And done by the mangaka of Fire Punch who has a reputation already for being weird as fuck. There's also Ju...jutsu? Ju-something or other I think. It's another newer series that's big on fighting and action that's getting well received. I think it's supposed to be getting an anime adaptation soon, so I guess we'll get to test drive it eventually.
>>867693 Oh, Dr. Stone is pretty good I think it's pretty chill though compared to a lot of them
Anno
Act-Age had the potential to be a smash hit but that's fucking RIP now.
Anno
Well I guess they're not outright doing group-on-group fights. I think it would be neat to see each group of three have to fight the other all together.
Anno
Well with the MC playing the butt monkey I guess it's up to the other two to win their fights.
Anno
Oh the crowd's commenting on it too hah hah. I feel like for a tournament called "The God of High School" having a competitor in his late thirties is a bit much.
Maybe the high school bit just like describes the protagonists
Anno
The old dude did follow it up by saying "you're never too old to learn" So maybe he's doing like a delayed graduation degree. And because this tournament's dumb they don't care how old he is.
Anno
Nothing wrong with being a failure in life!
Anno
Decent bloke though. Too bad he has to lose now.
Anno
These not-Stands definitely seem pretty Stand-y. The user even passes out when the not-Stand breaks.
but now we're back to violence and crunching noises
Anno
The plot has to kick into high gear now I guess.
Anno
The girl definitely kinda got the short end of the stick last arc. Getting pretty much bodied by Daewi in a flashback and not getting to fight all cool like with the guys. So it's nice to let her be the decisive fight here.
Anno
Oh this lady's got a foul mouth.
Anno
These elite fighters really show off the difference in power levels between the kids and the pros.
Anno
It's kinda funny how Mira's sword fighting style has a lot of allowance for not fighting with a sword.
Anno
This high level fight was pretty sakuga. Wow well that's one way to go out with a bang.
I heard this show was stirring up controversy on the internet.
Anno
Oh she's become an employee instead of a customer now. Though working in a cafe like this would probably be pretty cozy.
>>867725 Yeah, I think it had something to do with unrealistic body standards. That or the fact that she's tiny is making her pedobait despite the fact that she's almost Japanese adult age. I dunno I make a point of not delving into that kind of discourse I just like looking at nice art and silly shit. Kirara could probably give you a better summary of what it was about.
I guess she is kinda small, I never thought of it that way. Hard to confuse her with a child for reasons
Anno
Hah hah these sound effects. I guess Ami is suffering her own personal Vietnam.
>>867727 Her SUGOI DEKAI are beyond even what you'd expect from a Japanese girl her age at a normal height. Anyone who complains she's unrealistic is missing the joke that she's intentional unrealistic.
Anno
I guess once a swim nerd, always a swim nerd. He just wants to enjoy the ocean water!
Anno
Poor guy. He doesn't have the social tact to properly handle girls.
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
unlike myself i am a prrroper gentlemann
Samu /人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\
*throws fedora into puddle*
Anno
Ah oh gosh This is what you get for giving him fighting game moves. A total KO
Well their girl and guy friends just disagree on the best way to ensure the MC and Uzaki end up together. The guy want's to aggressively push them together and the girl wants to let them grow together naturally.
oh, idol activities I guess they remembered that they weren't doing it and have been making up for it.
Anno
Very classic idol-poi feelings from this trio.
Anno
Plus I think with this three all the actual characters we've been introduced to in the school have done performances. The main cohort aside, of course. I guess this is how Tiara and her best friend sell the idea to the rest of them though. It being the only way they can avoid expulsion.
Anno
Tiara's hooked on that aidoru life though.
Anno
This black-haired girl that seems to have some real beef with Tiara always reminds me of Yohane. Obviously she's got some lingering feelings concerning Tiara's older sister.
She probably had the most personality that wasn't just "I'm an idol!" I don't think I was particularly attached to any of them though.
Anno
Yeah so it looks like when Tiara's onee-chan was mentoring this girl she started crushing on her in that "Onee-sama" kinda way. And yeah she's jealous of Tiara for being her -actual- imouto.
Anno
Also KanaHana doing onee-chan roles is something we need more of.
That book on fashion looks like a magical tome I guess there's a good chance that it is
Anno
Maybe it's a tome on MAGIC FASHION Which if you think about it is something right up the alley of a magic aidoru.
Anno
>>867765 I think she got married recently so she'll probably take a few more lesser roles for a bit at least. Which might coincide nicely with that niche.
