We're seeing more final episodes now. I mean I haven't checked Hachi-nan could be one of those weird two-cour ieskai series but I'd not count on it. And Kakushigoto could maybe be thirteen episodes. Ah no this'll be the final one.
Isekky Actually if I remember correctly there's a sudden dearth of isekai shows next season. Maybe there was one I kinda glanced over the synopsis of but the only one that comes to mind is Re:Zero.
Possibly, but I'd be surprised. Judging from the chatter I see isekai is still going strong in other media. So it would be weird if anime was the only one it was losing popularity in. Plus anime has a wider reach and isekai is BIG in the SEA parts of the world.

His older brother is voiced by Sugita, which as he's gotten more and more batshit insane has become a bit less clear. At the least it's been a long while since I've heard him get to do such an exaggerated voice so I'd forgotten how his "insane motherfucker" voice sounds like. But it seems like he's fun being ridiculous with the character.

This was a show that a lot happened but also a lot didn't happen if that makes sense

Yeah I think I get it. There's progress points in the narrative but there was like never really any emphatically energetic moments. So it all kind of feels flat.

It's a bit nice. A lot of fantasy series, not just Japanese isekai, tend to over-romanticize nobles as the heroes and just men and women of the land. Getting a series where they're all petty, squabbling human beans is kind of satisfying.

Well this was kind of foreshadowed. Earlier in the series they did say something about a comedy mangaka having a serious public revelation could entirely kill their success. Guess it ended up happening to him.

That Chiri-poi friend of Hime's looks even more like Chiri know that she's also a high schooler. And that one with the ponytail and slanted eyes looks even more like the one who was always going hyterical.

I feel like despite this being a fictionalization, and a comedy on top of that, there's probably a nugget of truth in what she said. Trying to convince Gotou he's been in a coma for a year and forgot seven years of his life is probably one of those things that would freak any emerging coma patient real bad.

Well that was a nice ending. A bit quick to the punch, I guess since they wanted the anime to conclude at the same time as the manga did. I would have really liked to see more of this, Kumeta's stuff is always a treat. I bet there's a lot we didn't see that they just didn't adapt since gag series don't have too much about continuity to care about. Still a really nice series. Funny and charming and extremely wholesome.
I'm glad that Kumeta is still getting work and adaptations. arte

How very typically kid-like. Starts off all bratty but warms up to her and then gets sulky their time will come to an end.
Arte's spent so much time getting used to guys that disparrage her for wanting to be a painter the moment one of them is actually positive about it she has no idea how to operate around it.

The painting of ceilings in this time period must've been a really annoying task. Like in the way he'd be expected of doing it, with attention to detail and intricately designed. Imagine doing that while at best laying on your back, or even worst, craning your neck back for hours on end.

There's a lot of research and design prototyping that goes into art. It's important to explore a lot of resources to make sure the choices you make are ideal. Especially when paying -when painting for a client.

Honestly as nobility you can kinda, well not really change your birth, but forsake it. She's already kinda done that by apprenticing as a painter. But I guess in fairness she did appeal to this guy because she was a noble. In part at least. There's always going to be people trying to reinforce the circumstances of your birth even if you fight against them.

I guess the climax is going to be her making the choice of returning to Florence or staying in Venice. Because of how small people's worlds and how difficult travel was in this time, there's a good chance whichever choice she makes, she'll never see the people who live in the other city ever again. Doesn't make for an easy decision.

I think that would mean staying in Venice, since she's got an offer of a patron there. But I dunno, I feel she'd want to return to Florence and be able to apprentice longer under Leo.
