Great Pretender Episode 5-8 Arte Fruits Basket Hachi-nan tte, Sore wa Nai deshou! Honzuki no Gekokujou Episode 22-25 Nami yo Kiitekure Tamayomi Yesterday wo Utatte
I totally parsed Pretender for a good moment there was Plunderer and I was about to comment on there not being a new episode of that out yet. Good thing my brain kicked in there.
Hai sorry here now Wow that should just be a hi where'd that A slip in.
Anno
Yuki's brother's really made a mess of the place.
Anno
Tohru's one of those characters that goes so hard on the Pollyanna nature she kinda ends up being a bit of a determinator. So determined to be positive it's almost a force of nature.
That's a really callous thing to come to realize at such a young age. Though I guess the toxic environment the Souma kids grow up in probably makes them mature faster than most kids their age.
Anno
That one-handed hug seems to be Kyo's best attempts at affection. When he was rampaging as the monster and Tohru brought him back, he did the exact same thing for her. Considering his torturous upbringing it might just be affection like that is the limit of what he can muster.
Judging from them dead set on prosecuting the bodyguard too I bet he's got something planned. They spent too much time endearing the bodyguard to the MC for him to just let him get time.
Anno
I wonder what the actual reaction to taking these drug cocktails would be. I'm not even remotely experienced with drugs but I would assume taking a cocktail of various drugs packaged neatly in a candy piece would be dangerous.
Anno
Hah hah wow. She's making him parade himself in front of all the people he betrayed.
Oh they're good and dead if they're laying there like that.
Anno
The director went straight to bribery after the video. He's pretty resolute in his corrupt ways.
Anno
Hah hah she's swindling him out of his money too. If the director wasn't such a dickbag I'd feel kind of bad for him. He didn't like directly piss off Laurent or the MC or anything. He's just a mark for people to swindle money out of.
Oh and the film director gets arrested anyway. All's well that ends well.
Anno
Laurent's little gang ended up being larger than I expected. There's a whole bunch of them involved here.
Anno
>Step on me too next time, Cynthia! Interesting lot of characters.
Anno
Wow he goes an turns himself in. That's probably not the best thing to do if you're planing on living a life of crime. Guess that's why he needs them to wait a few years for him.
Anno
That was a really good wrap-up for the arc. Makes me excited to see what scheme they get up to next time.
Isekky I totally don't remember where we left off in this one. I think it was something like the serf folk of his older brother's land were starting to insist he take over as lord of the land. And even the Duke his family serves under wanted him to do that.
Anno
Nobles sure are unrepetent schemers. They can't see their actions as anything but the right course of action so of course even when they scheme it's "for the best".
Anno
Well from the sound of it, it was a pretty thoroughly thought-out scheme. All a bunch of chess, forcing people into actions they want to take to accomplish your plot.
Anno
Unlike the other times, where he's just been sent out on quests where the only real danger is to himself or people he can protect, this time he's being forced into a coup against his own brother. Even if his brother's kind of a jerk he doesn't deserve to be sent into destitution.
Anno
Okay maybe he's kind of gone off the tyrant deep end a bit.
Anno
What good is understanding nobles if they're all a bunch of sociopathic scheming pricks.
I wonder how he plans to keep his enraged onii-san from --
Why is there ALWAYS mayonnaise. Like sure I like mayo with some stuff but I don't get the Japanese total adoration from it. That one isekai with the seven geniuses did a similar thing, winning over a bunch of people with mayonnaise. It just seems ridiculous to me.
Anno
I feel the MC might be underestimating his brother though. Stripping away his allies, making him more and more alone. With all the pride his brother has I feel that'll drive him to be like a cornered rat rather than peacefully surrendering.
Uh, whatever's most recent. Yeah, eleven. Takes a moment to scroll down from H to T in my HorribleSubs downloads hah hah. I should really clean that folder out at some point.
Anno
I'd kind of rather they lose this game than win it. They're up against a team that's had years of practice where aside from a full baseball nuts their team has had like a few months practice. But I guess it's a bit of a downer to end a season on a lost game. I'm more for immersion than good feelings though!
Hah hah. That's the second time this game they've force-walked that batter. They're really determined to not let her play.
Anno
That blonde with the bobcut is a real batting fanatic.
Anno
Even if you're not going all out, two hundred and fifty pitches is still a pretty ridiculous amount to throw. How many pitches does a team even throw in a game on average? And even then most teams have relief pitches to take pressure off.
Anno
Oh here they go. They're gonna let this girl finally bat.
Anno
Yeah, I figured as much. With how crazy she was swinging and how fast the pitch was, that ball was gonna fly.
