I think they're pretty consistent. Honestly the initial weird extendo-arms are the ones that are kind of out of order. The stuff she's shown like wings or gorilla arms are more consistent.

Ah man when you talk about a persecuted race in WWII that got herded into concentration camps and used for experimentation. There's not many real-life groups to draw parallels with.

I wonder if that cult priest guy is trying to recreate this story that made Shirou though. After all the world seems to have gone into genocide mode on the beastmen since then. Anima City is probably the first time since then that so many beastmen have been gathered in one place. A good chance to trigger another catastrophe and make a new Ginrou-sama. And he's already got a new candidate in mind, I bet.
Reaaaady I think this show runs story arcs in sets of five episodes. Which is kind of a weird number for an anime show. But maybe it'll do more than just ten episodes.

He talks about Toyotomi Hideyoshi being some great schemer because he went from being a peasant to Daimyo -- which is no small feat of course -- but the main reason he was free to do that was because Nobunaga was betrayed by his other retainer Mitsuhide Akechi. I guess taking advantage of luck to turn the situation to his advantage is an important skill for a conman but to put the worth in the man rather than the luck is misguided I think.

The notion I'm thinking is he might try to play off the guy who's bodyguarding him. Laurent an episode or two back said the movie director took over Mafia that the bodyguard used to be the head of. And while the bodyguard has been doing every order the director gives him, I kinda feel he has some negative sentiment to the director. So that might be a workable out.
I think it does. Maybe not quite outfit but his face looks like the kind that would sound that kind of smooth, slightly husky.

This is a bit of a weird role for KanaHana. Like she does the character fine but she seems like such a small part of the series. Which normally you don't get from a big-name seiyuu like her.

Everyone thinks they're responsible for Mu turning into the last boss and wants to stop her. Yeah this guy's like the only one going "Yeah maybe we don't need to beat her up". Aside from probably Echo but we haven't heard back from him yet.
I don't know if Mu's gotten paler or something but her lips feel much more stand-out than they did when she was normal. It kind of gives her a bit of a clownface, especially with the dark eyes.

We get some good moments from the first-years now that Iino is a part of the regular cast. It means there's actually first-years in the cast for him to play off.

Chika's dad looks extremely normal. As opposed to Shirogane's dad who, still, is fucking WEIRD.
Maybe that happens later though. Though maybe the sports festival isn't the finale of this second season like I thought.
