Yeah, from the sounds of it the spaceship the alien rode in on with all his coin friends landed somewhere in that area. So the concentration of coins is probably in that vicinity too.
This game has some real nonsensical bits to it. Goblins that ride worms to catch fish gathered by weird seal-like creatures that are scared of dogs with dragon mouths.

This episode's been really good for setting up tension. A lot of things are moving towards climax and they've been building up that weight really well.

We haven't really seen much of that lady with the pixie cut. I think she was like a veteran talk host. Showed up once or twice earlier on but hasn't really been around aside that. The show portrays her as more of a regular in the OP/ED though.
