Well this is really kinda sad.
We normally don't ever see what it's like for the people these isekai protagonists that die leave behind.

And this is making it even MORE obvious hah hah.
I guess the MC reincarnated as Katarina and her friend as Sophie.
That's awfully sweet.

Her friend and Sophie have very different personalities though.
It's neat that there's another reincarnated character.
I didn't expect that.

Makes you wonder how her friend got into this world though.
the MC died to get in after all.

Sophie may be different too. She doesn't seem to have any memory of her life before, other than a dream here or two.

I'd be a bit surprised.
From the start of the series they kinda set the frame that Katarina was a loner with only one friend.
Unless they add in a bit of a retcon there isn't really anyone else to reincarnate.

The llama is charming in a weird kind of way.

You'd think as someone so close to the girl that got dopplegang'd think -that pink-haired girl would realize she's not actually her.

The CGI for these monsters in this arc have been quite pretty.
It's kinda similar to ufotable's use of CGI, though a bit higher quality and they still do traditional backgrounds.

The watermelon splitting always seems a little bit dumb to me.
As they just showed, splitting it with blunt force tends to just splat and shatter the melon!
It's much easier to eat when you just cut it

Kyo's kinda touching on the things I mentioned an episode or two back.
A lot of the Souma kids probably have a hard time realizing kids and parents can have wholesome relationships with each other.
