I knew we'd get a decent bit more to watch tonight.

I totally forgot about Tamayomi episode five.
I think after we watched four, the QUALITY one, I deleted episode five from my torrent list since it was the only HorribleSubs Tamayomi I had.
Seeing episode six out tonight felt kinda weird so I went and checked and yeah, we hadn't watched five yet.

That guy with the gimped knee sure is wrecking it even further just to win this game.

It was really funny reading -really fun reading it way back when.
Haven't kept up with the webtoon for a good five or more years now.
Wonder where it's gone since then.

Hopefully they can get more greenlit for this series than this one season.
I'm expecting it to more or less cover "Act I" of the story.
If we get more we get to see more of the world within the Tower.
Also Baam develops more than the personality of a doormat.

Poor Baam went and lost the Black March to the lizard girl though.

The lizard girl is strong

She's a princess!
Though not in the same way Yuri is.

Khun is a bit of a snake.
But he's a good friend to Baam.

I was gonna say.
As an Irregular can Baam even properly interface with the systems of the Tower.
Guess he can.

Spears are a cool weapon.
More stories should have spear-users.

Yeah, spears are good.
They're always getting overwhadowed by swords though.

I guess they're introducing a lot of mechanics like roles and teams this episode.

The worldbuilding in Tower of God is pretty in-depth.
Not just in the combat mechanics but also the societies and political structure of the tower.

The whole thing about the Princesses of Jahad is neat.
There are really a lot of them.

The cikirs
the colors are really strongly saturated this episode

The webtoon has a very Korean digital art feel to its colouration.
This isn't much like it, but I like how it makes the characters pop.

Plus we know the normal arc of history has that goal failing miserably.

It does kinda contradict that the other cathedral staff said he's usually shirking cleaning detail.
But he's been working in the cathedral for a while it feels like, so maybe he's been stuck cleaning stuff a lot.

It might kinda have been a negative feedback loop.
Like he tried his best at first but didn't get any praise from the upper castes in the cathedral.
And by the time Main arrived he'd just given up on trying since it wasn't giving anything in return to him.

Which kind of makes sense, since this setting seems to take place in a Europe-y geography.
