Appare-Ranman! Episode 2-3 Arte Black Clover Honzuki no Gekokujou Episode 16-18 Jashin-chan Dropkick' Episode 7-11 Nami yo Kiitekure Episode 2-4
Anno
It's looking like a lot of the delays in show production might end up being complete postponements to future seasons. The Fishing Girls show likely won't be returning and they're already re-airing previous Cute Girls Doing Cute Things shows Doga Kobo animated in its timeslot.
I notice the list getting smaller and smaller. I guess this season may be disappointing even though it had so much promise.
Black clover nami yo ep 2 appare ranman 2 honzuki dropkick 7
Anno
This whole first half of 2020 is probably gonna be a write-off for the whole planet. If not the entire year.
Anno
I've been thinking of what might be done if you still want to do anime nights if there's nothing on docket. Could maybe go through some of the movies that have come out over the past few years. Like there's Triggers Promare if you haven't gone and seen that with other people. That show with the Bunny Girl sempai and all the girls with weird problems got a sequel movie last year. There's the Kono Suba movie. I can think of some others as well.
Yeah, we may have to find some alternate stuff to do I haven't seen a lot of the movies
okay black clover! okay lets start!
Anno
Kuso Kuroba This is another one that's going on hiatus after this episode. Dunno if it's gonna be postponed or just an indeterminate number of weeks.
With how close it is to the manga the planning staff are maybe a bit happy about the situation though.
Anno
Though actually I wonder if weekly manga will be able to keep its consistent production too. They don't need as many people working on a series but they're still cramming the mangaka and their assistants into a likely somewhat small studio. Maybe they cut back on assistants and space people out so it's fine.
Anno
TRAINING BEGINS NOW This lady's always got a crazy training regiment
>>835373 Weekly manga seems doable since you can do it at home largely and the editor can edit at home
Anno
Mana Skin kinda looks like power aura from stuff like Dragon Ball hah hah
>>835387 Yeah, providing the mangaka doesn't come down with the virus at the worst, production delays would probably just result in a skipped week here or there.
Anno
Nero's like perpetually depressed and unmotivated. Probably the most sympathetic character in this series!
They are kind of the scraps of the Magic Knight population. Yami seems too lazy to actively recruit so he just ends up with the rejects he takes a liking too.
Anno
Well I was going to say Noelle was showing a rare moment of competence, even kind of excelling above the other Black Bulls. But I guess the heat got to her.
Anno
And now she's been kumo'd
Anno
>What is that monster? Asta please anyone can see it's a giant spider
Anno
Hah hah this lady is a nutcase.
Anno
Oh another dungeon arc. I guess it's been ... a hundred episodes or so since the last one.
i wonder how this is gonna stand up to covid i'm pretty sure black clover is like big 3 tier these days
the first dungeon arc was pretty good the second one was okay
Anno
The next episode's already been delayed. I don't know if it's being postponed to the next season or if it's just gotta take a week or so to finish production. This is one of those shows that's pretty clearly animated not long before it comes out so production deadlines are probably pretty tight for it.
Hm, did you ever get around to watching that Shokugeki no Souma season from a few back with Ningen A That could be something else to put on. I think they were doing another season this season too even.
Oh is it getting another another season? wow so much
Anno
I think the manga ended last year, so they're probably just running to completion. It's never really been a demanding series to animate.
Anno
Wow this guy is conniving. I dunno if Japanese court takes into account how drunk someone was being when they gave their written consent for something though.
Anno
Oh no she became an overnight celebrity.
Anno
Wow a SHAFT headtilt This isn't even a SHAFT show.
Being able to speak without stumbling is a pretty incredible talent to have. I can't get through a lengthy bit of talking without stumbling or having to slow down. And she does it at a really fast pace.
She's a very relatable character hah hah. I can kinda get the strings of thoughts she's getting into
Anno
Judging from how they all still use folding cellphones this series probably takes place a decent bit ago. Some point between smartphones becoming the norm in Japan and text mailing becoming commonplace. Cellphones held out in Japan much longer than elsewhere, probably still being used normally even into the early 2010s.
i don't remember why I started wondering when this series takes place though. There was something in it that prompted me.
Oh yeah radio. I wonder if radio is sitll actively a thing in Japan. Because this series looks like it takes place maybe mid-00's Ah but they know about livestreaming. Probably somewhere around 2008-2012 then.
I thought folding phones were still pretty popular in japan?
Anno
I believe they finally lost out against the smartphone in recent years. The iPhone experienced an explosive boost in popularity, which is why so many mobage usually start out on the iPhone before getting an Android release. Folding phones probably still exist as like a budget phone option but I think the standard these days is the smartphone.
Reaaaady I'm hoping we get to the actual race again soon. That seems like it'll be a lot of fun.
Anno
Intercontinental tourism probably wasn't much of an industry during the years of the Meiji era. So there probably aren't a lot of regular ship routes going from America to Japan that aren't for commercial purposes.
Anno
I thought the last guy was gonna put up more than a fight. But the samurai laid him out pretty handily too.
Books! >>835460 Yeah, I think sixten. Sixteen even.
Hm I had a notion of it but it looks like my PC's not reading all to fast again. Probably need to do a restart. Not immediately or anything I've got all the shows we're watching. I can do it after anime.
Yeah that's true. They seem to aggressively try to maintain the class structure of the society.
Anno
I guess there's a limit to how much mana they can pour into that thing within a period of time. Which is why they can't exactly provide them for commoners. I mean they could but I understand why they'd hoard them.
月
sometimes i forget this is isekai
Anno
It doesn't really lean on that too much, does it. Especially now that she's not trying to make things from her previous life that don't exist in this world.
月
scary that's one way to deal with em
Anno
The combination of her not playing their games and being a bit intimidating will probably do good work at reining them in.
Anno
Two totally oblivious kids. It always falls to Beno -to Benno to lecture her on what she does wrong hah hah
She's really kind of merged into mine well enough that it' it's hard to really treat it as isekai
Anno
>>835485 Also JoJo's long-running antagonis DIO. Koyasu is a real treat of a seiyuu. He doesn't really change his voice much but he somehow always fits the character he plays with it.
月
it definitely has a different flow than ilpallazo it's just the timbre
Anno
Benno totally changed up his look for this. It took me a second to go "Oh yeah that's him"
Anno
I think Benno just has a thing for reprimanding people.
He knows how to play the social game. His usual attire is probably too casual for a formal church appointment.
月
the little chibi scenes are really cute
Anno
They're a good insight into Main's personality.
月
it's a really good narrative device for framing a person's internal thoughts
Anno
People totally think Benno is grooming Main hah hah I guess to most people it doesn't seem impossible. But Main psychologically is like a teenager or so. She's probably a harder target for something like that.
Anno
Wow she really just totally keeled over there. Poor Main.
Anno
Well she's already won over the easiest of the three. For someone so socially awkward she's pretty charismatic.
Now for someone who's probably grooming kids. The, well whoever the old man is, that feels right up his alley.
