The anime is definitely more an advertisement for the manga.

I'd be surprised if they'd put a later relevant character in a voiced role and then toss the whole affair.

But eh, adaptation anime is a strange and foreign process for me.
Every time I think it's making sense things are just weird.

This was an interesting show I guess.
