Having looked into a couple chapters of the manga that have been posted in threads, this anime's actually really, really close to the weekly chapters. There's maybe like one more arc before it's in the manga's current arc.
But between the one remaining arc and the manga's current I think there's also a brief time-skip. Not like Naruto timeskip where they're gone for three years but still probably enough time to maybe put in some anime-only filler.

Sawashiro Miyuki has such great vocal range hah hah She does both sultry and shrieking so well.
Noelle and Charlotte do have some overlap. Though Charlotte is a sputtering tsundere where as Noelle's more a standard tsun.

Though this is a good chance to show off Yami's redeeming qualities. Despite his kinda asshole nature he's a caring guy.
I feel like they give Yami a lot of good moments. They giv ehim looots of good attention the show is as much about him as the main characters lately.

I guess the Shounen Jump readership being as much adult stay-at-home-women is as consistent from One Piece as it is to Black Clover. I can see a character like Yami being real popular with that group.
They are awfully gaudy yeah, hah hah. I don't really like polka-dot to begin with but having it be a pink base with white polka-dots is really off. Normally you'd imagine it being the other way around.

This girl pretending to be a boy is kind of a whiner so it's worth it seeing her get 1-UP'd by the MC.

I saw some complaints on /a/ about this adaptation because it doesn't do a lot of animation. A lot of it is still-frame pans or limited animation scenes.
It just feels kinda dumb to me since this really isn't a series that needs a whole lot of fluid animation or anything. And the visuals are consistent. It feels like more than sufficient animation for the material.
Nene's got a good knack for befriending evil spirits. This version of Mitsuha seems to have no memories before her and Hanako Black so the fact that she treated him nicely right off the bat probably meant a lot to him.

I'm worried at least for these oni we'll get a melancholic ending. From the feel of it they'll have to make a dangerous escape from this town. At the least I don't think Somali and Otou-san are gonna find other humans before this season wraps.

Yeah this show hasn't exactly been comfy material on its mid-arc episodes. I was worried it would be a lot this episode. That was even more than I was expecting though.
