I've kind of been ignoring the episode count on Ace because we usually watch it week-by-week, but with there two out now I finally kinda got a direct look at it. I hadn't realized we were already up in the high forties with it. Hadn't realized it had been airing now for almost a year. Wonder if they'll wrap it up for the end of its fourth cour, that's not an uncommon time for them to stop shows.
They ran out of content awhile ago and took a long break but now they're back on

Eh, I'd say it's more likely they got hit by work shortages like a bunch of other Japanese businesses are right now because of Covid-19. From what I've seen spying in on chatter about this series on /a/ there's a timeskip moment coming up soon-ish anyway. If they really wanted to take a break that would be the opportune time for it.

Covid-19 already -has- been impacting shows. We've just been fortunate that it's mostly been stuff that we're not too remiss to have delays on. The ones we've had actual reports saying the disease has caused delays on are Hatena Illusion and Infinite Dendrogram. As in the studios have said publicly "Yeah we can't finish the episode on time because our employees can't come in to work".
The studio for Black Clover and some of the other shows that have had recap episodes mid-season this season haven't said so themselves, but considering the circumstances it's a reliable inference.

Schools country-wide there have closed until April too. I don't think their situation is as bad as China or Italy or ... there's some country in the Middle East that I can't remember that's also really bad. But I think Japan's just practicing a super-cautious plan here to prevent things from getting out of control.

Oh I vaguely remember doing stuff like this when I was doing swimming lessons as a kid. Though the objects we were diving for were larger and heavier and the depths deeper.
I haven't gone swimming in a really, really long time. Probably close to a decade, if not more than that. I wish there was a good reason for me to, I've got nothing against the activity. But there just isn't really a reason to.

Honestly Arata might've beaten him to the punch when it comes to confessing but when it comes for who Chihaya's emotional investment is piled on, it really feels like it's overwhelmingly Taichi.

Dumping literally all your stat points into a specific stat is a really funny notion. I wonder if after this series there'll be some dumb kids that go into actual MMOs and try it. I can't imagine it would work well.

If the things that bypassed the disadvantages were harder to come by I think it would be fine. All the stuff that's popped up for that has been really cool and honestly having rewards like that in a game is a great way to keep players invested in it. But they seem to drop way too often.

So it's a cross between Capture The Flag and King Of The Hill. That would probably make for a fun game.

They said in-game time for this event was sped up, but by how much? The event's a five-day event, I'm assuming in terms of in-game time. But like even if it's like the five days within a single real-time day, that's twenty-four hours you can't log out of the MMO without forfeiting your part in the game.
And does it feel like it's still a full five days to the players? I wanna know these answerssssssss

If you could use a full-dive VR environment to make a game where people playing could feel like multiple days of playing actually takes place in a fraction of that in real time, I think that would be really, really cool. There could be intensive events like this where players have to stick with the event for "days" on end, having to ensure they get proper rest while facing an ever-present danger. I think a game like that would be exciting.
