I'm not sure what Hatena is, other than it's an LN adaptation. Seems like it has something to do with illusionists and something like phantom thieves maybe. Infinite Dendrogram is another "Players in an MMO game" series I think, though I don't know what its quirk is. Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun is a comedy with supernatural flair or something. Show By Rock is a new band in the same world I think.

This is actually a pretty old series. The novels it adapts ran from 1994-2003 or something. It had an adaptation way back in the late 90s in addition to this current one.

There's a bit of some weird anachronism going on. Like some of the fashion and set-pieces are very sword-and-sorcery but then there's like full three-piece suits and ladies like this one in formal wear as a police officer.

VR in general has yet to catch my attention as a base concept and without that foundation most anything built on it is kind of more of an "Oh that's cool". I also don't have any VR infrastructure.
New social environments also kinda spook me, even if they're done with people I'm already well-familiar with. When the drawfriends I used to hang out with regularly first moved to Skype for talking (long before Discord was a thing) I remember despite knowing them for like half a year or more, I was still terrified when I first joined the calls and could barely speak. That's always something I have to over come when entering a new social environment.

The notion of mixing math and music is a good one. Music has a LOT of math mixed into it that most people aren't consciously aware of.

No it's fine a minute's honestly not a big deal. I don't think this is going to come with any hard hooks that being a bit delayed is going to throw off.
The original manga's art had some really excessive eyes I think. This has done a pretty good job of adapting the colour and style of the manga I think.

Mermaids in Japanese folklore tend to have all sorts of weird qualities like that. They always seem to be associated with stuff like immortality or love powers.
Mermaids are kind of assholes. Though this kind of punishment came from eating their scales which I doubt were removed in a polite way. So maybe it's still just.
She plays one of the main characters from one of the Dangan Ronpa games. And also a bunch of characters from various shows. Though it's fairly distributed between male and female roles.
Another VRMMO series. There was a bit of a surge of these around the time SAO came out. I wonder inf the video game exploration of VR recently is bringing them back.

I guess this game, like any real-life game that calls itself Endless or Infinite or some kind of title like that, tries to live up to its Infinite name. Though it's got the advantage of being entirely fictional and so can be as ridiculous a game as it can imagine.
Well an MMO that can accurately simulate NPC death and the effect it has on the world is a neat concept. There's a lot of weird hoops they have to jump through to justify stuff though.

I'm guessing running into the Cleric girl is a rare occurance he got with his MC Plot Convenience Powers. And then being told the NPCs can die if you don't do their quest made him go HIIRO mode.

It's one of those LN series that probably sells really well because it's a straight-up unironic power trip. Power trips can get really tiresome fast if they're not at least a bit tongue-in-cheek.

Hanako-san was definitely the highlight of the night. Though I did like Majutsuhi since it's an earnest fantasy series. This one is whatever. I can watch it and it'll be fine but it's not more than that.
