Hm, kind of. In the episodes you would have missed she confronted her family about the magic sickness that's eating her from the inside and made peace that she doesn't have more than a year to live. (Though since we know she's alive at a later time in the first episode this, while well done and quite touching, obviously doesn't remain true.) I think it's still probably a cozy show, there might be a kind of creepy moment if the stuff I've seen from chatter about the show is true but like, creepy in the realist accuracy the world of the series takes seriously.
It's looking like Vinland is gonna close right at the start of Farmland Saga. I wonder if they ever do more adaptations of this if they'll skip over a lot of the stuff in that -in the early parts of the story arc.
Unless there's an announcement right here at the end, as far as I know there's no continuation confirmed. It's a popular manga but I don't know what the reception of the anime's been so I don't know how it will fall though.
I like that line-up shot towards the end of the OP of all the students taking place in this arc.

Toga and Twice actually have kind of similar powers when they're put up side-by-side like that. They both involve lookalikes.

I think Twice 's dupes possess the Quirks of the created. Which ties in partially to why he's so fucked up.
In the past he was more level-headed, and as some people might see as pragmatic, started making dupes of himself so he could get more done. But the more dupes he made and the more dupes they made started getting to ridiculous levels and since they're all sapient eventually he became inable to tell which was which. And then they all started to become convinced they were the original. In the end he slaughtered all his dupes, or well they all slaughtered each other, until there was only one remaining, the one who now calls himself Twice. But he's not sure really if he's the original or not and it constantly fucks with him.
Toga on the other hand I'm pretty sure she can only look like people which is why she's always using knives even when she looks like others.
Man this one's gonna be a wild one to jump back into for Moon hah hah There was a heavy plottwist at the -in the last episode that threw everything for a loop.

I'm pretty sure I know the positive catch though. Though still, even though the world's probably fine with Seiya on the task, having Rista stuck witn no -with no healing powers makes her even more useless than before.
Only the first day of competition, eh. I don't think this is an only-eleven-episode show so I guess they'll have a cooldown one-off episode for the finale.
