Well I don't think he's popped in much recently. When Wow Classic dropped I think he made a post or two about it in some of those small WoW threads that appeared. So who knows. Sugoi playing WoW is just kind of like you going out to crazy parties every weekend. Who knows if it actually happens but it's fun to insist on.
I wonder how much we'll be brought up to speed this episode. It has been a very long time since season two.

The lightning-fast card slaps in karuta kind of reminds me of the reaction speeds from that quiz show game. They both kind of benefit from knowing the full length of a quote from the smallest amount of syllables.

The concept of dead cards in karuta kind of reminds me of the dead wall in Mahjong. I wonder if dead components of a game is a common trend in East Asian games. I'd need more information to be sure though.

Onigiri are really great light meal options. The asian grocery store near my university sells them. I should really go by more often and get that as a snack, rather than junky shit like chips or chocolate.
I've never tried my hand at making them. Probably wouldn't be too hard, I've just ... never done it. Might need to find some ideal rice varety for it though.

If this is the main cast for the season then there's a good number of shifty people on their team.
I think some of the content that's put out between season two and this one hints that some of the major characters from before might make a return though.
