i have pinged him on steam about 20 minutes ago we shall see
are you in a hurry and want to get started? i dont have the list, but i think we usually watch kimetsu on sunday? i think wed want tilde for that though im fine to wait or start
Ah nuts I don't even have Internet on my PC. At least I've got all the stuff pre-downloaded but it's a papaino ... pain to type up a list. I can reboot the net easy enough anyway. Hopefully Rika checks in while that's happening.
hotspot your phone! i do it all the time oh it's predownloaded, thats good
Anno
Well a reboot is a good opportunity to get everything typed up for the list.
Oh hi good Rika.

I kind of took Muzan's actions more of frustration than desperation. He's annoyed by the continued ineffectivity of the lesser demons he's made his Elite Twelve.
Wow this guy is TALL. He seems to have a real angery problem.
>>752097 Oh yeah, that's true. But that's kind of pragmatic really. Tanjirou's the only demon hunter to have come face to face with him in this age, I think.
Anno
Aw that's real sympathetic of Aoi. I can really understand what it's like for her there.
Wow he's just doing whatever he wants with her coin.
Anno
Yeah she seems to have a hard time with people like Tanjirou, hah hah. Though a hard time in a good way. She probably needs someone like Tanjirou to help her not be a little autsy.
Anno
Oh the Squad managed to all burst those giant gourds. That really feels like an absurd thing to do.
Anno
These three helpers are really adorable. I hope nothing mean happens to them in the series.
Anno
T R A I N T R A I N
Anno
Hah hah oh gosh Tanjirou. Of course you're as much of a country bumpkin as Inosuke.
Anno
Wow they haven't even gotten on the train and things aren't going well.
Ah, we're getting a movie based on what happens on the train?
Anno
Yeah, the train arc's gonna be a movie. It'll hit theatres some time in March, I believe. Hopefully it's not too long until it gets a release we can watch together. Kirara wants to watch it with us too. He really likes that fiery Hashira that as you just saw, is also on this train.
Anno
Speaking of anime movies too, Princess Principal's got a movie coming out April 10th too. So that'll also be fun to watch.
Anno
I was looking at the oncoming new stuff for next season and we don't really get much of a break this time hah hah. >>752131 Yeah, it'll air in three days by the look of it.
Good for Stone whenever, we don't need Moon for this.
There's also another two or three shows that are airing in the next few days too.
I wonder how they're going to handle the tournament arc.
I can't really see the guard guys acutally doing it. One of those two scientists will end up doing it, I figure.
Anno
I bet it won't even be a tournament in the generic shounen sense. From the sound of it there's only really that one kind of douchey village guy who's up against them. Though it does feel there's gonna be some kind of twist at the end of it though, yeah.
Well so is Kohaku. Honestly with her in the bout I don't even know why they're going to all this trouble to secure a win. She trounced the douchey guy last time they fought after all.
Anno
>Nearly half a year It's neat to see a somewhat reasonable passing of time in this series.
Maybe Senku's love interest will be the priestess.
Anno
Well Chrome likes the priestess and Kohaku likes Senku. So so far there isn't much romance conflict.
Hah hah oh no. Their best bet aside from Kohaku for beating the asshole is going up against him first.
Anno
Though I guess it's better to say Kohaku's interested in Senku less than liking him I guess. But Chrome is full-on crushing on Kohaku's sister.
Anno
This middle-aged midget reminds me of that one guy from part four of JoJo. That one with spikes on his head that was a part of the arc with the lottery ticket.
>>752156 They talked about this in the episode where they gave Suika glasses. His brother knows he's got bad eyesight and asked him why he didn't get them to also make him glasses and he refused out of pride. So they never made him glasses because they didn't know he needed them.
Might happen, yeah. If he wins then whoever's fighting in the second bout are going to have to kill time until Kohaku can get back from trying to find Suika.
>Loon calls I might be wrong about this but I'm pretty sure loons are only local to North America.
>>752164 I don't think Thorfinn and Thorkell are ever going to get along hah hah. Though we should get at least one more good long encounter between them so Thorkell can tell him what he knows about Thors.
Man, Thors, Thorfinn, Thorkell. There's too many characters in this series named after Thor.
Anno
There's like five new shows that are going to air for Wednesday. And then Black Clover and Ace on Tuesday as always. Nothing for Monday by the looks of it though. And it seems Enen might not be airing this week.
Well The Ear's ability to hear two horses on a distant hill is probably an exaggeration of human ability. But listening to the vibrations in the ground is something trained hunters can pick up.
>>752168 Yes, and being able to estimate distance and troop numbers while doing so.
Anno
It's the kind of thing that the skill is definitely possible for humans to possess, but to the degree that this man seems to have, that's where the leeway of fiction permits some freedom.
月
it's pretty impressive what we can laern to do when we have to use it to survive if that's like his main thing maybe so listen to enough vibrations and maybe you can learn to distinguish them
Anno
This is some pretty good mood-setting. Eerie English highland mists.
Yeah he seems a bit spacey. I wonder if we'll get a prolonged bit of character exposition from him soon.
Anno
I guess by this point in history the Romans had properly conquered the Welsh tribes. So this Roman-looking nerd really is a Roman nerd.
Anno
These two soldiers in Askeladd's army seem to be the ... uh I can't remember the term off the top of my head. Shakespeare would use a similar character device to make commentary and jokes the common folk could understand when they watched his plays.
Anno
Man these are some gorgeous environments they're travelling through. I want to travel through the backcountry of the British Isles some time.
I was surprised the priest didn't bring it back around to alcohol.
Anno
The only thing he likes more than alcohol is Jesus I bet.
Anno
I can't wait for this warty old king to fucking DIE.
Oh that's Leif Erikson. He was in the prologue arc when Thorfinn was a kid.
Anno
RIP Askeladd's horse. I always feel bad for the horses that get killed in series like these. They didn't do anything wrong and they often die as brutally as the soldiers that ride them.
horses are pretty brutal creatures themselves they didn't do anything but they're not very nice critters to begin with especially untamed ones have you ever seen two wild horses fight? it's pretty scary! theyve got mean attitudes
well, mustangs anyway wild mustangs are really mean! theyve got too much testosterone
>>752190 oh i didnt know they werent used as warhorses domesticated is pretty different but ive had some encounters with wild mustangs and i dont really like them! they're super mean
aaaaanyway im getting back to work! ive got like a bunch more to do so see yall next time thanks for havin me
Horses are generally gentle creatures. They are really stupid though, and because they're so stupid they're kinda dangerous.
>>752189 Oh, mustangs are generally breeders and very hard to control. They aren't used as warhorses. They don't have the proper disposition.
Anno
Gentle, brutal, nice, or not nice, I just don't think there's any creature that really deserves that kind of ordeal. The battlefield is an awful place and especially for a creature that doesn't understand what's really happening or what's going on, to die in a brutal and painful way on it is just awful.
oh you're off too okay good night >>752191 i think things which thrive in brutality tend to not mind a brutal death, but if it's the girly horses being used then that's not really the case not that it's really okay for human-invoked brutality either, i dont mean that
Anno
Yeah I had a feeling we'd run late already. We made good time with what I'd restricted us to though. Tomorrow and Tuesday at least will be a bit lighter so we'll have some time to chew through what we've got before the new stuff comes in.
>>752193 Most horses get gelded, and that greatly diminishes their aggression and makes them suitable for work and war. Cultures that didn't geld horses generally used female horses for these things. Ungelded stallions are hard to use for anything but breeding because they're so wild.
>>752198 I wouldn't call myself a horse nerd but I do happen to know about them, yes.
>>752199 Yeah, that's why. Family had horses. I know a lot about them but I generally don't like being near them because they are dumb and will hurt you if you're not careful just because they're very big and strong but are very dumb.
Anno
Gosh Rika I didn't know you were such a horse nerd.
>>752197 did your family farm have some horses? we knew a family with some horses when i was a kiddo and i learned to ride. that was fun. i liked them but they gave me scary dreams a lot neat!
i dont like being aroudn them too much either! theyve always been mean to me, but i think theyre okay
Anno
I've never been on a horse. There is/was a stable and riding grounds in the valley pretty near where I live but I'd never gone to it. A couple years back there was a really bad fire in the stable and the establishment had to shut down business because of it. I don't know if it was a temporary setback or if they closed for good; I haven't really checked in on them. It's a really unfortunate situation though. There aren't really a lot of good options for stuff like that for cityfolk 'round here, and being able to pop down into the valley means you could be riding a horse after a short subway/bus ride or even a quick jaunt on a bike. There aren't a lot of places like that you can get to without a car, so not having that available restricts a lot of people from the opportunity.
Oh, looks like I was wrong. Looking at some history, it seems that stallions were used as war mounts during the early middle ages because gelding hadn't been made a thing yet and warriors at the time preferred stallions due to their aggression. Mares and geldings weren't used as war mounts until a little later when people realized that calmer mounts make better war mounts. Knights as we think of them used mares and geldings, but Vinland is set pretty early in terms of era so I bet they were still using stallions.
okay bedtime
月
i bet askeladd's crew would be using stallions they seem like the type good night!
>>752200 saint louis had city horses it's kind of neat any time you'd be in downtown saint louis, there'd be horses and horse-drawn carriages and all that fun stuff they were the horses with the really fluffy feet. really dark midnight black or bright white with big fluffy feet, it's really pretty saint louis is a really cool city, i miss it
Anno
Ah, the fire killed sixteen of the horses. That must have been an awful way to go for them. The stable's webpage seems devoid of content too, I hope that doesn't mean they've had to close shop because of the fire. Losing sixteen horses is a really expensive setback though.
Clydesdales, that's what theyre called saint louis has clydesdale horses all over the city they're not as efficient as an uber or a taxi, but tourists really like them! or romantic days in // day trips to the city
Anno
Oh, yeah, I'm familiar with them and their fluffy tubesocks. I'm not really fond of horses but I think from a distance they're pleasing to look at.
