Guess this tetchy white-haired kid is getting set up as the replacement for their sempai catcher.
Assuming this series doesn't end at his graduation.
I would imagine it would at least follow Furuya and Sawamura until graduation though.

I'm not really sure what they plan to do without senpai. He's so vital.

Yeah he's really the team's strategic lynchpin.
They might have some good players without him but if there's anything this show has taught me it's that a lot of the strategy the catcher has to employ.
