Araburu Kisetsu no Otome-domo yo. Dr. Stone Enen no Shouboutai Fruits Basket Granbelm Hachigatsu no Cinderella Nine JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Joshikousei no Mudazukai Kimetsu no Yaiba Lord El-Melloi II Case Files Nakanohito Genome [Jikkyouchuu] Vinland Saga --Episode 1-3
Araburu is some manga that's being written by Okada Mari I think. It's a bit weird but might be fun. Dr. Stone is a Shounen Jump manga adaptation. It's kind of adventure-y with a focus on Science Is COOL. Enen no Shouboutai is the new(er) series from the mangaka of Soul Eater. We should probably save this one if Jan's not around. Granbelm is cute girls piloting mecha I think. Character designer is the one that did the characters for Re:Zero and Conception. Joshikousei is the cute girls doing cute things show that's replacing Bocchi's timeslot I think. Lord El-Melloi is that show with adult Waver from Fate/Zero solving magic mysteries. Don't really know what Nakanohito is. Vinland Saga is about vikings. The three episodes that are out are probably an advanced screening so there's a chance we won't get more of it for another three weeks, so there's no need to rush through it I think.
Enen no Shouboutai sounds good but we should ave that for jan
Let's check out nakanohato and see what that is maybe? >>712250 oh okay im really an indecisive person i dunno
Anno
Hm, that might not quite be accurate. More like silly science. Like "I can see where the rationale behind this is in real world mechanics but realistically it wouldn't actually work that way".
we could finish off cindy nindy just to get them out of here
Anno
A fifth might be a good idea. I don't think the weekdays are too saturated with anime but better safe than sorry. JoJo and Cinderella are also last-episode stragglers from last season so once they're out of the way by next weekend I'll have a better picture of what the anime terrain is like for this season.
There's been a lot of Shounen Jump stuff lately that we've been watching. This, Black Clover, BokuBen, Dr. Stone, Hero Academia when it resumes in autumn.
The artist for the manga is a Korean guy. He's done a few monthly seinen manga in Japanese magazines in the past but this is his first weekly work I think.
Yeah I only checked out the first handful of chapters of this, which is mostly all them in this tech age. I do know they eventually get to more advanced tech ages.
This is like that video where the autralian guy makes stuff in his backyard. Like houses and pots and stuff.
Anno
Primitive Technology is the channel. He was originally doing it on a plot of land owned by a friend but two or so years back he bought his own plot of land out in the Australian rainforest where he does all his work now. Originally it was just a hobby and the videos were just him doing it for record but it caught on pretty well.
i think it's fine to let kids drink alcohol they don't really like it anyway so if it' allowed they won't want it
they'd rather have mountain dew
Anno
Oh this is a really cool bit. A visual timelapse is neat to see in an anime.
Anno
Hah hah he's what, genetically a seventeen year-old. How does he get such a thick beard.
>>712319 Probably, but in a magazine like Shounen Jump they could probably get into social trouble for promoting it. Just because most kids probably wouldn't like alcohol, there's likely some that would be fine with it, and kids really shouldn't be drinking alcohol.
Yeah, that wasn't too bad! it's got an interesting premise and the big dummy is kind of an adorable character
Anno
He's just so absolutely positive.
Anno
The OST's pretty solid too. I like a show with a good OST.
Anno
Hah hah, that's a funny warning message they've got at the end.
月
they put a substantial amount of effort into finding a scenario to make the scientific knowledge useful too like the whole stone thing that's pretty neat
He's dressed a litle anachronistically though. If we assume Fate/Stay Night takes place in the early 00s since the VN came out then, then Fate/Zero's Holy Grail War takes place in the early 90s. So this event is happening probably around 1997-99. Yet Waver's dressed like he belongs in contemporary time in that outfit.
She's on such a massive highchair to be on the same eye level as him.
>>712342 Yeah, it takes place a bit in the future. Kind of what's probably somewhere in the middle of the LN volumes that are already out. It gives a look at the main characters of the series.
Anno
Oh I really liked that transition from Waver to Iskandar.
i like type moon stuff a lot but i'm not as deep into it as i need to be mainly the fates are a little daunting to start into there's a lot of stuff i'll get there eventually
Vinland or Nakanohito might be all right. Or we can close off Cinderella.
Anno
>>712350 Despite using some Fate characters, this doesn't actually touch much of the Fate content. What we've gotten this episode is probably the bulk of it, honestly.
月
araburu kitetsu? do we know anything about it i just pulled it up to peek and it looks cute
i vote for it anyway but we can do cinderella
Anno
Araburu is definitely going to be interesting. Okada Mari is a good writer that really does the human dynamic in an engaging way. But she also some times throws curveballs at you.
this show is really cute but it's pretty real teenage years were hard
Anno
TRAIN TRAIN HASHIDE YUUKE TRAIN TRAIN DOKO MADE YO
Anno
>Likes reading train schedules >Masturbates while playing music about trains >Watches porn of girls getting molested on trains Yeah this guy is totally a train otaku.
Anno
>>712388 Yeah it's pretty unfiltered-ly human. Kind of both uncomfortable and relatable.
I feel the sex imagery will tone down as the character relationships begin to take the forefront. But it'll probably continue to be a pretty raw human experience.
This'll probably be lighthearted and cute. A good palate cleanser.
