It's kind of a classic argument of utilitarianism. Daigo sacrificed the needs of one for the sake of his land. And so he could remain in power, so he did have a selfish motivation. Where Hyakkimaru is eschewing the needs of many to recover his body. The otouto is kind of similar to their father but he doesn't have Daigo's selfish motivations.
Which one you think is right or wrong probably depends on your point of view.

Though because Hyakkimaru is the main character the show is pretty biased to give him a more favourable viewpoint.
A nature episode. This simple artstyle does nature well.

Watercolours and natural environment are an excellent combination.

These little stands the Japanese use for their campfires are pretty funny. I've never seen something like that before.

Hah hah hah It's funny to see people experiencing roasting marshmallows for the first time. They're actually not bad if they get a little burnt. Though I'm not big on them in general.
This girl is the real dangerous person of this show.

Hah hah They're showing all the little easter egg moments they had Matsumoto hiding in. I remember catching a few of those

It's kind of wild for me to see Halloween be relevant in Japan. I remember when the Umineko VNs were coming out and Maria had the fascination with Halloween because of witches and there was a whole thing about how it was weird she was so into it because it's not a thing at all in Japan.
