A lot of the evil people in shows like these are really comically evil.
Slime's evil people were kind of similar too.
Though Slime at least was self-aware of how campy it could get.

Yeah that's what I remarked on when I heard his name for the first time too hah hah.
There's like a single vowel amongst five consonants.

Some of these names really sound absurd in this fantasy setting.

Seems like it might get a ltitle more serious soon.

The seriousness in this show'll probably never last more than an episode or two.
This flavour of isekai rides on the world being too saccharine sweet to ever feel like there's dramatic weight to things.

Not saying that's either good nor bad just an observation on the light-heartedness nature.

This Patrick has a very Issac Newton-look to him.

im not really invested in it but im enjoying watching it

It's the kind of work that draws you in with how serious they take the world building and depth of setting.
There's a fantasy author I'm pretty fond of that's similar. His writing isn't particularly incredible but his sense for creating unique world settings and how in-depth he writes them makes you fall in love with them.

A kind of Pied Piper but only for magical suits of combat armor.

This glasses girl from their secret organization sure knows how to dress cute.

well it's kind of cheating because she has glasses

Her hair's also really nice too.
I like that length of hair.
