Apparently Boogiepop had like an eighty-minute special this week which is why there's five new episodes or something. Or maybe four? I don't know if that's all we're getting of it this season or if they just did a special because of a crucial plot arc.
flashback powerup! he's not fighting anyone though so it's kind a wait
Anno
Well this has been the model of Golden Wind for the most part. Whenever one of Bruno's gang goes up against an enemy Stand there's always a life story segment.
Hah hah he's getting all red over holding hands with a guy
Anno
The original Handshakers was more or less a battle-of-the-week show. Where as this one is now four episodes in and we haven't really seen a real fight. It's kind of neat that they're not just retreading the same form as the last show.
This show takes place in Osaka, these backdrops and the scenery have to be taken from real locations. There's a lot of pretty-looking locations, I'll have to keep it in mind if I get a chance to return.
I expected you'd take to her. She's a walking disaster after all.
Anno
did i make it in time for the good stuff

>>646914 We're like eight and a half minutes into Kaguya, and we've got Endro coming up after. So mostly? I can get you the time for Kaguya. you'll have time for most of the show still.
>>646919 i find him pretty annoying but i also feel bad for him i guess
Anno
He might be a bit overbearing in the opening chapters featuring him but he settles into a good role for the rest of the council. I think he really takes off in some of the material that comes after what we'll probably see adapted in this season though.
Wow this sure is a lot of dialogue out of context.
Anno
>>646940 i really feel that last sentence though learning by example is tough for me i dunno
Anno
Yeah that was pretty much the context of that panel, hah hah. Kaguya-sama has a lot of really good moments that can be pulled out of context.
Learning by example's useful to me but I have a lot of inhibitions about doing something I don't know from an anxiety level so I benefit from examples to help lower my worrying about it.
>>646944 Well I think the name's still pretty removed from the show all the same. I picked up on the end roll thing because of my usual cursory Googling of a show.
>>646964 i kind of like the setting and idea of consumable skills and stuff though i'd probably play an RPG like that just to try it
Anno
Yeah, the mechanics seem kind of neat. Especially if the researching and experiments Mage-chan does are actual things like combo-ing cards or learning how to make cool ones out of lesser ones are indicative of potential mechanics.
Anno
FF15 kind of had similar concepts for its magic system and it was pretty great it made using your spells a big commitment and they were crazy strong as compensation you basically found different element crystals scattered around the world in specific locations and had to succ the magic out to make consumable spells based on how much crystal juice you spent when you made them
Anno
Kind of like tabletop games with their spell slots for magic. It makes magic into a fun management minigame.
Anno
Oh she's going to be run roughshod by Fai before this is over. How unbefitting of a hime-sama.
Anno
>>646970 yeah basically though the spells in that game were a lot more straightforward than your average tabletop RPG just your standard FF magic repertoire of elemental stuff and buffs more or less
Anno
man the fighter is a lot more hardcore than i expected
