When I first listed this show I think I got it mixed up with a different show airing this season.
Not that I think my discription ended up being that incorrect but still.

That guy kinda looks like male corrin.

This girl kind of looked like that oppai girl from D-Frag at first glance.
I guess she still kind of does but it was definitely a quick look thing.

The one that's shown up this episode.
Brown hair with braid.

Like I said it was definitely a first glance thing and it's harder to see now.

It does take a little looking to get it.

This black-haired guy is understandably in a very bad mood that his dad got turned into a monster and then killed by his effectively adopted brother.
After which a random girl just barges in and acts all mysterious and kind of rude.

You don't really want a doctor to be saying he thinks he'll be seeing you around.

They don't even turn into monster forms of themselves.
It's just like, a bunch of random mob monsters you'd expect to see in a JRPG or something.

reminds me of that show from last season where they grew weird stuff on them in their fighting forms

Yeah, there's a few other things about this show that have been reminding me of it too.
