I wonder what they're gonna do about Kaneki's arm. I think the crazy yandere got away with it, and I don't think ghouls can just sprout new limbs.

Souma

A Souma victory is probably a good closing scene for the season, but it's also a really weird point to leave off.
Like they win this 3v3 bout but they've got a bunch of others to get through.
It's an even weirder stopping point than the first season stopping right before the Autumn Elections.

This show has a problem I think we've discussed before, which is that if they lose they get expelled and it's all over, so there's no real doubt as to what's going to happen.

Yeah, I agree.
But this current thing they're doing, it's sets of team Shokugeki's.
Of course they'll win overall, but like for example, with a 3v3 they can afford one person to lose as long as the other two win.
Which is nice and gives them some breathing room for failure.

But of course Souma won't lose this first bout of his because they have to show off how much he's grown.
Hopefully there's some losses on their side in the upcoming bouts to make things a little more palatable.

I figured the first bout would be a rout from Souma's team.
