so for this year it's looking like august 15-19 or 16-19 will work best since ton took that week off for the 18th but i go back to school on the 20th or 21st or something
we could do it earlier if ton wanted to just come during a weekend or something it'll have to be in August though
there's also the number of days we'll stay i was originally thinking we could take a trip to NYC and spend a day there but it might be a pain because i don't want to drive in NYC we could also do a DC day NYC and DC are both about two hour drive from Philly
i think we should do two days in Philly at least since it always seems like we don't get to spend that much time in the city
but i guess the important thing to work out first is how many days people can/are willing to afford to do it hotel will be like $80-100/day and we're expecting at least four people so that's not really that bad but it is money ill pay for the rental car like always
but people gotta take off work so i want to find the ideal days that reduce the amount of time everyone would have to take off work
so let me know here a rough idea of how many days work for you and which weekdays are ideal im thinking max i can do is 4-5 days

My nights off are Thursday and Friday. I only have four vacation days this year so if the full group meets around those nights, it's cake for me. I can probably use a saved overtime day otherwise. I should probably try to grab more OTO by then.

Yeah, not to presume, but if you were to take the Wednesday of that week off or something, we could swing by early in the morning to get to NYC and even pick you up for a tour of the city. Or something. If we are going to NYC it kind of seems reasonable to rope picking you up into that to me at least.
I'm not currently employed so it's hard for me to say for certain what my availability is So make it work for the rest of you and I'll make it work for me.

i checked the buses and trains for around the time we'd go and there's no good way to do a day trip so we'd def be driving if we did it I don't mind driving to NYC but id want to park on the outskirts and use public transport into it

My biggest concern with driving there is if we're driving into the city early in the morning we might be hitting all the outer city traffic driving in. At least that's how it works here. Highways get crazy clogged up in the mornings driving into the city.

I'm good for either a trip to D.C. or NYC since I've never been to either.
I'll also pay my fair share of the hotel room, plus what I owe you from last year. The money's actually been sitting on my dresser ever since.

personally I would prefer to go to NYC ifI blue is coming but maybe he would rather go elsewhere as long as I get to see new stuff and breathe that brotherly love in the air where we go isn't a huge deal though
