How long does a bios update even regularly take.

When I updated mine, it didn't take long.
The hard part was figuring out why my computer wouldn't boot, and the answer was that the updated bios didn't remember where my hard drive was and had to be pointed to it manually.
The update itself only took a couple of minutes.

I think what's actually going on is that Hotaru was visiting the town during summer vacation.
I think that's like a whole month inbetween school sessions.
There's probably some other reason as to why she vanished at the end of summer vacation but going back to her regular life might've been a part of it.
