This would have probably been the reveal in the novels too. If the first few episodes of the series were anime-original, then the novel readers wouldn't have all that pretty obvious dancing around the edge of things that Violet's boss did in those episodes. So this would have been both a wham moment for Violet and the readers.
I like both the sound and style of this OP. Stuff like with her sitting at a food bar and the scenery and people around her being shifted on and off is neat.

I guess that's actually a pretty clever way of using the seaweed. I think I like seaweed like that dry and crispy better than when it's wet though so I'd probably just eating it ASAP.

She might not be all that good at cooking but she's good at plating her food. That mini dish she put together looked visually nice.
As fast as I've found, nothing you can put in a tent can make it a comfortable sleep for me. Mattresses, pads like those, fluffy sleeping bags; none of that matters. It's not even a matter of the cold, I can't stand the feeling of sleeping on the ground.
I have a pretty comfy sleeping bag. My only complaint with it is that it's a little too hot.

I can sleep in really warm conditions and pretty cold conditions. But I need a good cushioning to get properly comfortable, and so far I haven't found that anything that travels well to put in a tent fits the bill.
