I was familiar with the ramen base being composed of broth and dashi but the complexity is new to me.

There's really a LOT of ramen subtypes in Japan.

Protagonist-chan needs to calm down a bit, and the other charactres need more active roles.

Maybe it's the colour scheme of the backgrounds in this show but their school feels really old.

It looks as cold in this episode as it is outside.

Nah it's probably only like, single digits above zero Celcius where she is.

Oh, how convienent. A thermometer just as we were talking about it.
It's 5 C, that's actually not all that cold.
It looks a lot colder in the show.

That's pretty cold in Japan for the most part though.
Unless you go to almost-Russia Hokkaido, the temperature rarely drops below freezing during the day.
