Yes, we've managed to not hit the 4 show mark at all this week. I am thinking we'll have to go back to the drawing board.
okay the list: nana maru new game sagrada reset sakura quest youkoso so on and so on the one about them getting points based on their performance
Ika says he will be along later but he started napping around 30 minutes ago so I'm not completely optimistic. I intend to watch New Game tonight.
I think we should start with Nana Maru because I like that but Ika doesn't seem to.
Anno
Not that we have any shortage of shows to watch tonight but there's also Fate/Apocrypha and that Jiken no Sommasomthing show. Fortunately the latter is one Squid was probably the most interested in so it 's
Anno
probably
Anno
something we can save for the rare occasion he's around anyway.
Uh. A series of unfortunate coincidences means I need to restart my computer and then probably do Sagrada first instead unless you want to wait a couple minutes additional.
Oh that's an interesting extra layer of strategy. Gambling that you know the answer before the question is even established. Therefore making your opponents take a riskier gamble.
Yeah, this guy seems to play the game more than know trivia.
Anno
Hah hah hah. Fuck I should know this director.
Anno
You'd get a different accent and emphasis from reader to reader though. I mean I guess there would be some patterns to pick up but a bit of the early game would be analyzing the reader's particular tics.
Anno
PFt. He gets really excited even when he's not playing.
Anno
That question feels pretty obvious to me, at least in full. But I don't really know how commonplace the word Ragnarok and its meaning is to the normal public.
I think the red jacket guy doesn't love trivia that much. He loves the game!
Anno
Loving the game is fine too! People who love trivia though, would have the advantage once the questions get difficult and the possible pool grows too large to rote memorize.
Riri's grandma was pretty cute as a teenager. The chief was also a bit of better looking guy.
Anno
So despite her spite of outsiders and insistence on keeping Riri in Manoyama all her life, the old lady was dreaming of leaving the town for the big city herself.
>>204606 Yeah that's kind of what I was insinuating!
Being married to the chief seems like it would be very tiring.
Anno
Yeah. Some people like that sort of thing in their partner though.
Anno
Beef, Olive, and Poison.
Anno
I guess there's a lot of small-town rituals or traditions like this. That have gone on for so long that everyone knows how to do them despite having forgotten entirely what they mean.
She was nice when she was young but she turned out mean.
Anno
She's been burned a few times if you think about it. First by the Chief forcing them to give up their dreams. Then by her child being chased -being abducted by a foreigner.
Yun isn't being malicious. She's just being lost. That's going to be her character arc,
Anno
I know. In this sort of situation I can definitely sympathize really well with Yun. Some times it's really hard to overcome the feeling of "is it worth even trying". Especially when you already have a comfortable position like Yun does.
Oh yeah Rika. https://blog.sakugabooru.com/2017/07/18/welcome-to-the-ballroom-episode-2/ This episode of Ballroom literally killed its episode director. He was at the studio, working, and went for a nap that he never woke up from.
You can really feel the professionalism in Kou's delivery too. Like she can explain the intent behind design reasons clearly.
But the director had some reasonable criticisms too.
Anno
Sleep-deprived mania really can produce some absurd genius of inspiration. Of course it also some times makes everything feel impossible to get creative with.
Anno
Yeah Aoba definitely could have phrased that a little less assumptive.
It's hard to work with something that's just a doodle like that. Since it's not really an idea she came up with in any real detail.
Anno
Yeah, in that situation she should have been paying attention to what the director was saying. Like special extra-focus. Because the idea, even in a bit of extreme vagueness, did resonate with her.
Anno
On a side note though I feel a company shouldn't reach for a relative newbie to take on a crucial role in game development like this. Even if they show considerable creativity in a competition like this, that's a single short burst of creativity. Where as being the actual character designer is a long term project, nevermind being the one that everyone is going to come to in order to ensure the design remains in touch with the original design motif.
But this is anime I really shouldn't be getting in that much.
