This feels like it may be a cleverly disguised recap episode though.

I don't really think there's much of a disguise going on.

It looks like Meteora is trying to get herself upgraded though.

They're kind of goofing off either way.

It's a recap, but they've added a lot of stuff too.

They're also cutting out a lot of the exposition dump that filled a lot of the earlier episodes.
Really someone completely fresh to the series could watch this and get about the same enjoyment of the story.

The last thing we watched name touken ranbu was boring.
So I don't have high hopes.

This one will probably be more action-oriented.
Touken Ranbu is that fujo Kancolle knockoff series.
The one with the sword-boy personifications.

I still don't really have very high hopes for this series myself though.
At the least it'll look pretty.

I wonder how popular Tucker Rampu is still over in Japan.
This series and the previous one by Dogakobo were both announced at the same time, and that was still like, half a year or a year before the Dogakobo one came out way back when.
