I can say with probably accuracy this isn't a despair event horizon episode for Shuumatsu. Dunno the same for Sagrada, it doesn't seem to have a lot of conversation on /a/.

A regular door is still the easiest point of access for getting into a room. Even breaking down a regular door is probably easy than smashing through most walls. Easier even, if not faster. And again, he's locking up an elderly lady. Even if the walls aren't strong, it's not like she would be capable of knocking them down.

This show is really poor at making its material interesting. Which is kind of funny since it really does pique my interest. But all the effort involved in that feels like it's coming from me.

Well that in particular is kind of a theme. But normally you'd have another character to offset that. Having both the MC and Robot-chan be robotic would be fine if there was another person around to add flavour to the mix. Aoi Yuki's character kind of served that purpose but then she went and fucking died.

But I mean, there are definite moments of intrigue peppered in here and there. Like said fucking dead character showing up in that old man's photo with the MacGuffin. There's a web of mysteries that is strung up all throughout this series but it's hard to get into it because a lot of the material is just monotone dialogue that gets a bit too naval-gaze-y.
