granted I think realistically speaking a hivemind, even if it were to exist, would never actually become all that advanced technologically cause like, why would it? at least for us, advances in tech have come from just curiosity sure, but in large part purpose-driven like, a new engine is something developed because it can do more for less, but when you don't have anything more you need to do, why would you look into it? seems like a hivemind would just default to sustaining itself and kinda call ti \\it a day

presumably I'd be part of it, so honestly I wouldn't really DO much of anything I think I guess probably degrow a lot of civilization cause an enormous amount of it is entirely redundant given a hivemind
If I wielded it like a tool, though, separate from myself, I'd probably put it to work making cool stuff for myself the entire population of the globe dedicated to the task of making a really fun and immersive video game, for example

ive always been a fan of the 6/28 week six 28-hour days that stagger by 4 hours each day 12:00am monday morning to 4am tuesday morning then 4:00am Tue to 8am Wed 8:00-noon, noon-4, 4-8, and 8-midnight
20 hours productivity and 8 hours sleep so you can push forward a little bit each night to work into a sleepiness it's kinda more like 18/10 though rem cycles are about 90 minutes long so that accomodates 6 cycles (9 hours) plus some transition time into sleep and waking up to a half hour or hour of some noise therapy to be a conscious human again

okay i got a second 3090 i ordered it on impulse cause i got scared about future GPU prices now i have this HUGE fuckass case for my first 3090 and the rest of the computer but it's built for AIO coolers or even liquid cooling. or having a huge array of HDDs
but i don't actually know if i can fit the second 3090 in the PCI there it's going to block almost all the SATA ports i think so now i probably have to get a riser and then find some mounting point inside the case where the card will fit
