somehow win10 managed to bring back freezes again so whole os just hanged out & ctrl-alt-delete not wokin anymore for hard reboot so I left only with hardware option of power off
windows is total fucking ass at this point I booted into 10 a few days back to play some magicka cause that shit don't work too well on linux, and it was honestly just painful booting takes forever, the drive is bullied until it cries by 15 bootup processes that exist just to fuck everything up, fucking onedrive goes "hey is it my turn to install?", cortana launches up like "hey time to install me!", the "antimalware service" burns like 40MB/s on the drive just to exist, search indexing starts cranking
It took me like 15 minutes just to open discord after putting in my pin to log in my friend thought I'd gone to bed
what's most frustrating about windows is killing a task doesn't REALLY do that half the time when I kill a task in linux, it's like taking a pistol to its temple, it just shuts the fuck down, but windows has half the bootup shit actually be a subprocess of a master process that checks whether they're running, so if you kill something like the onedrive installer, after a little bit it starts up again because "oh, looks like it hasn't started"
