I watched this movie about Napoleon on the plane but I didn't like it very much. It was kind of cooked to watch a guy talking about defeating the English with a strong English accent. Why didn't they just find a french dude to play him? do people hate reading subtitles that much. Also it jumped around a ton. Like they were trying to cram too much story in just a couple hours. i mean i get that the events of his life took place over many years, but it still mean that the movie would just skip around between random scenes and time jump all the time and it didn't let anything really develop or flow properly. and the dialogue was badly written. i guess the costumes were good(?) the lead actress was hot. The battles didn't look very good. The movie was more focused on romance drama then really exploring any of the complex political dimensions of his rule. it was bad.
