my protip is for doing pourover coffee pour the boiling water to wet the filter first, get that filter all lubed and ready then grind beans put them in the cone pour enough water to cover the grounds (ideally the water temp should be optimized at like 90something deg C but i don't have a fancy kettle for that)
anyway i pour enough to cover the grounds, then wait for the CO2 to bubble out then you go at it with adding water to the sides of the funnel and maybe stirring gives a better extraction

I think the world is just too complicated. Everyone has too much going on at any given time. The human brain hasn't evolved to the point where it can navigate so much complexity and conflicting information effectively. Obviously there are people who can do it, but the average person is just not capable of it. Their brains are constantly overloaded with information that they can't make sense of, so their beliefs are erratic and the way they see the world is inconsistent. They lose their ability to make sense of things and have to rely on people they trust for it, but usually those are bad actors that make the situation worse for financial benefit.
Pretty much everyone has two sets of beliefs The ones they like, rationally arrive at through thinking about them and putting together information they know And also a separate, though overlapping with varying frequency, set of beliefs they actually believe on something like an instinctual level and base their actions on
"Rationally" on the first isn't necessarily them being right though, it's just that those are beliefs they get to through thinking, and sometimes those transfer to the instinctual level, like how programmers simply KNOW how to do a particular thing, or you KNOW how to ride a bike or drive You got there through the thinking bits, initially, but it's gone over to the instinctual layer, and there's probably a lot of gunk in there too that you've later realized is actually not accurate or real but you still act like it is because you have two sets of beliefs and the rationality-based one isn't what you act on

It's fucked up how despite all the fucking mods I have slammed into Skyrim, being a mage still kinda stinks I mean you get some REALLY cool goodies at the late stage of each school's perk tree, like my alteration is absolutely cracked (level 95 now) so I have access to an actual hammerspace spell that can hold infinite weight and be accessed at any time through a 2hand spell, and also I can manifest any crafting station I want at any time, anywhere Which is really good when combined with the black azura's star, obviously, cause you can just churn out obscene enchantments each time you clear a room in a bandit dungeon or something
But despite all this Despite my power I know that my base level archery and level 30 sneak would utterly demolish my magic if I just bought Bound Bow and used that from now on

I just don't wanna go stealth archer again, it's just way too powerful to even be fun, ESPECIALLY with this modlist because oh my god the single enemy type I'm afraid of is anyone with a bow Mages? Not a problem Lads with big swords? I can tank a hit or two, I've got armor rating in the 500 range due to 2.5x ebony and also using robes
But a guy with a bow has a chance to legit just 1tap my ass from across the room anyway Not even necessarily like, a deathlord draugr or something, just like, A Bandit With a hunting bow and a dream
I have no fucking idea why bows are so absurdly strong, but I can only assume it's one of the combat mods, and actually maybe it's not BOWS that are so strong, it's just that they can touch me while the other guys have to run through streams of ice while I backpedal
I do appreciate that somewhere in my list is a mod that alters how alchemy and enchanting is done though, so there's no enhance alchemy\enchantment enchantment\potion anymore The enchantment just makes the potions you use last longer, and I don't think there is a potion for enchantment anymore, I at least haven't come across it But that might just be because I've been so focused trying to keep up with the scaling, pouring all my levels into pumping my damage output and defense By way of enchantment, alteration and obviously destruction
I assume one of the reasons mages suffer is also being split between so many fucking perk trees If I go BIG SWORD and BIG ARMOR, I have 2 necessary trees to worry about, and I can put some into smithing for better stuff, and some enchantment for more better stuff But I don't need more than that
For magic you need destruction, obviously, alteration for the extra defense and other benefits, and also destruction is split into ice, frost, and shock so you gotta take all of those since some enemies are gonna be immune and they don't scale based on your appropriate vector of attack But you also need enchantment, obviously, and ideally conjuration cause you need someone DISPOSABLE to stand between you and the guy with the sword (lydia will happily do so but you WILL kill her due to magic being very happy to annihilate friendlies too) Illusion and restoration can be and should be entirely ignored though
You can't make it if you put perks into those two, they're just not useful Wards are bad, you should simply not get hit instead

I added dodging to skyrim, and with precision the attacks actually match the weapons, so playing with daggers now is really intense stuff Super short range, but QUICK, so I gotta weave in and out of range
Probably gonna make myself a sword to keep on me as well though, cause a lot of the game is in tight quarters where even if you technically are able to dodge, you don't have anywhere to dodge to
the AI does it too, so it's actually kind of a difficulty multiplier Well, aside from the fact that daggers are so short it's almost impossible to use them without the ability to dodge
