I didn't take any diamox or anything and i thought I would be ok because I've never needed ot in the past. Bur yeah.. Probably needed a few more days to rest up and acclimatise.
The guide even said to me yesterday like: next time sign up for a 10 day trip instead of the six days and bring the diamox ans you could do it no problems.
So. Kind of bitter-sweet. Because it was a really great trip. But I am pretty god damn salty about not making it to Uhuru

On the other hand though, My guide was saying that word was going around that another visitor had fuckin died on the mountain while we were there From altitude complications. So.. Retreating probably was the right call. Gotta take that stuff seriously.
I'd be down for it Maybe not literally one on top of the other, since I'm not a big fan of soggy french fries, but the soursweet tang of pineapple contrasted by the salt and starch of potato sounds good

pineapple and french fries could work i suppose it doesnt seem very practical to mix chunks that big with individual fries tho
