Had a real prick of a bus driver this morning I got on at the back doors of the bus (a somewhat abnormal, but permitted thing to do, since there's a card tap device there) since I know this bus is always crowded up at the front with kids getting off on in a few stops, and tapped my card after having to sneak it under the arm of someone who was not paying near enough attention to me trying not to move their arm to get at the device And the bus driver almost immediately starts going off at me from the front of the bus, shouting that I should've waited for the next bus, despite there being plenty of standing room where I'd gotten on, which I now have to shout back to him to inform him After that he shouts at me to tap my card, but I've already done that, so it gives the beep of a declined card, so I've got to shout again that it's not declining, I've just already paid for this trip I also saw later on in the route after the bus had emptied considerably, that he deliberately pulled away from the stop even after someone had ran up and was tapping on the closed doors, so I really think he was just out to be a miserable fuck today
