There's a lot of pettiness in this workspace

I was thinking the police ID should really be one of those things with a photo on it
But judging from the look of what he stuffed in his pocket, it might be one of those clamshell things where the actual photo is separate from the police card
So anyone with some handicraft skills could replace the photo and pose as a cop

It was mostly just Kawai being a bit of a dumbass and running her mouth
He ended up being a really sensible, likable guy

That second half of the episode was really well done though

Or conversely how old is this old weirdo
If he named the previous Ryang-ha as a kid, and then he lived to be a young adult, and then this Ryang-ha took the name as a young kid
That has to be a span of at least thirty years

i think they're the same ryang-ha
i think he lost his memory or something

That doesn't really make sense to me
The old man's whole thing was he didn't recognize Ryang-ha despite giving the name
And maybe sure, there's the possibility Ryang-ha went AWOL before he grew up and changed as his body aged
But that doesn't fit the vibe for me either

Yeah Ryang-ha that felt like a pretty clear bait

Lots of violence this episode

Would be kind of funny if Ryang-ha just incidentally ended a criminal who has a tendency to spark wars and other chaos because he was curious about Ryang-ha's name

Jim is such a good kid

For being a practicing bounty hunter she's still really bad at violent encounters
What kind of experience did she even have before this series begun

the only fight she's won so far was the one where Jim threw a chair through the window at that guy

I wonder if there's positive merit to a school which is comprehensive for kindergarten through high school
Like, it makes practical sense for smaller communities which might only have a handful of students per grade and school districts would be impossibly massive for segmented schools
But for a population dense community like a district of Tokyo, I can't imagine trying to fit hundreds of students per grade into a single school institution would be a good idea

so probably about 5-6 years of hardcore every day all day gaming

my computer has been running 24 hours a day for the last 6.5 years
only turning off when being transported or because power went out

Your PC wasn't also running a VR MMO game 24 hours a day

that sort of thing doesnt' matter if cooling is proper and the parts are designed to handle it
modern (post-1990's) computers don't really have anything that causes issues with prolonged use

what are you expecting, from a physics standpoint? which parts have issues with constant use?
if you don't allow dust buildup or overheating, there aren't really deteriorating parts
hard drives, solid states, and ram are the only parts that need replacing every x number of years
the cpu, circuit boards, and the vram on the gpu

the cpu, circuit boards, and everything _except_ the vram on the gpu should be fine indefinitely save for defects or improper manufacture
the vram will eventually go but the ram and vram are both going to long outlast the hardware being outmoded

I wonder if they'll ever explain the staggered way the player characters have arrived in this world
Or if it's already been explained in the original material
Like Cayna got here two hundred years after the event where this game became an isekai world
And various other players have arrived here over the course of those two hundred years it seems
Some early enough that it appears the natural mortality of their species didn't last those two centuries
At least that's how I'm interpreting that these towers and their guardians have remained dormant for ages

cayna is basically everyone's mom

It bothers me that they didn't explain the human player's situation a bit better
it's so weird

the overall situation of the game world becoming like a real world
and the big plot that may or may not exist in the background
seems to mostly take the furthest backseat to the sol and small adventures
so it's pretty bothersome and almost irritating when they remind us that it exists
but i'm fine with it as long as the show stays comfy
