I mentioned it a few weeks back, but there's a good chance this season we might have a night or two of the week where we won't have a full five shows a night Unless we want to scrounge up another show or so to fill the void
They really kinda ignore the classmate isekai thing a lot
Anno
It's not entirely unreasonable They basically threw him into the labyrinth and then did their best to forget about him He's still quite the edgelord but his disdain for his classmates doesn't feel entirely unreasonable
Let's see if they can turn their first real game around
Anno
Sakaki's going to keep dragging their team down if he insists on playing entirely on his own And blaming other people for his awful passes
Anno
I don't know about futsal, but from my understanding in professional football, it's actually pretty uncommon for this many goals to be scored in a game Like most games end like 2-1 or 1-1 or even 0-0 at times This game has a lot of goals by comparison
Anno
Futsal only allows five players per team on the pitch But if they get this sixth guy then they can pair up all the boys on the team with an OTP Plus it's probably useful for the sport to have a reserve player in case of injury
that makes sense most sports do have reserve players or subs kuroko had 6 players for a 5 man team too
Anno
Realistically the people running this game probably wouldn't just let some random new member join in the middle of a game hah hah But I guess that's sports anime for you
Anno
Oh the grey-haired kid and the goalie are the tiger and dragon duo too That's a duality that goes far back into East Asian mythology Cultures like China and Japan consider the dragon and the tiger to be spiritual equals and metaphorically exist as an expression of rivalry and being equal to each other
We saw it in force all the way back in Toradora, if you think about it
Anno
These Very Shounen special kicks and stuff are really funny
Let's see how heartbroken they are after one loss Against a team which obviously has had more practice time and players who have stuck with the sport for years on it
Like I get being upset about losing but I mean, c'mon Some times you just gotta accept you picked a hard fight to win
Anno
Everyone's on Sakaki's ass to pass more and be a team player It's kind of funny If it wasn't so completely accurate it probably would be kind of annoying But he's a really bad team player for someone who wants to play a team sport
Taiko seems like a fun arcade game There was a new one announced for the Switch in yesterday's Direct I might pick it up some time
Anno
Wait is this a real arcade game Balancing a platter of stuff while you ride a bike
Anno
For a recent move over from America to Japan, the MC is n't doing many stereotypical American immigrant things Like he does drop English into his dialogue or have weak Japanese Doesn't drop even
Anno
I guess he's going to get humiliated by this guy Considering he's an absolute scrub and this guy is Japan's top player
Anno
Nothing like some good ol' fashioned "I hate my dad"
That power technique and it's passed down from his dad
Anno
Parental netorare?
Anno
Oh I was going to say what about his phone But Sakaki just left if there on the ground Which is still pretty rude, but at least he didn't march off with it
they a;; all look like really lower level adventurers
Anno
The demons are all for the most part supposed to be totally normal people Or were, at least Something happened and they all went crazy and violent So they're probably just like farmhands who picked up anything that looked like a weapon and went on a rampage
Anno
So this illusionary world is kind of like one of those kids games where the kids all just go "I call up an impenetrable barrier!" "Oh yeah? Well I call up a spear that can pierce any barrier!"
Anno
The other three really wasted no time bullying this demon
I'm pretty sure voicing random background voices is how most seiyuu break into the business So as far as the lot of them go, she's doing things pretty normally
Anno
The idea of a world where idol culture no longer exists is pretty silly Like how would that even happen
How do you have idols without some kind of idol cultue culture
Anno
Yeah that too Like if you made it some girls who want to be idols but come from a world where idol culture has been eradicated That kinda makes more sense And actually while being silly kinda sounds a bit fun Hm
Anno
Voice training feels useful Since you also train to know what notes you can sing match with musical notes It also helps conquer tone deafness
Anno
Wow she's a walking bag of superstition At some point it's got to start weighing down on you
Anno
I feel like asking someone who has no confidence why they have no confidence isn't really a great question Because honestly it always feels more like the question is "How do you even have confidence in the first place"
