and the doctor appears more male than anything in arknights

Yeah I'd agree with that
There's enough room for ambiguity with the Doctor but I'd agree male is the safer bet

i wonder if the doctor is gonna be voiced in the arknights anime

arknights announced EN voiceovers coming to the game eventually

I'd bank on pretty likely
There's enough commentary options you can choose from as the Doctor that them having a personality and by extension voice is important I think

For a moment there is thought they were going to lean harder on the fourth wall than that and have the Commander know this is all a game

i checked it on spotify
it sounds a _little_ better there but it's still just really lacking bass
they mixed it bad, cause the bass is there, it's just turned way down in the mix

i love the style and the wacky stuff in the world
giant animals repurposed into vehicles and mushroomancy via arrows
exciting and interesting

I don't like seeing the animal vehicles get hurt though

there seems to be a bit less fanservice this ep

i kinda had a feeling that might be the case
even shows that are pretty fanservice-heavy tend to frontload extra onto the first ep
although sono bisque only ramped it up to 11
i definitely feel much better about the show after this episode

i still am on the fence about whether i'll finish it or not
but for now, i'll do another

It's like with Mieruko-chan last season
The more the series got into it the less fanservice it relied on

definitely felt weirder last episode than it did with mieruko tho
also mieruko, it did pop up in later episodes seemingly for no reason

sono bisque really went crazy with it

Her choices were pretty practical for getting measurements taken

i for sure have watched literal wank material that was less powerful than that episode

They really paid a lot of attention to animating all the fanservice
the internet's reaction to it tells the whole story I think

An artist I follow on Twitter was saying something about a Yuuki-kun-chan when they were watching the episode live
I see what they were getting at now

oh it's the idol girl
she was my main tank

I used her for a lot of the PvP stuff
For the PvE things I usually used Pecorine because I'm partial to main cast characters

kyaru was embarrassed by that idol outfit but it really wasn't taht much more frilly and cute than what she normally wears

Yuuki still has the mental state of like an eight year old hah hah

As expected of this series, they really animate the hell out of this live

last episode was pretty wild but this one was just plot and idols

Nothing wrong with some idols!
I think it's a really nice insight into Karyl's headspace too though

That was an extremely comfy ED, man
