To my surprise, there was a twenty-sixth episode for Scarlet Nexus
I definitely expected episode twenty-five to be the last

I'm not seeing any news of a second season being greenlit, but that ending does leave a lot hanging
Might just be they need to get the okay from their production committee
Which might never come, of course
But hopefully

there was a short time of shows getting greenlit before their first season is over but i feel like there's been barely any recently
it seems like the climate is shifting towards waiting a little longer before announcements

It still happens often enough
Some times even for stuff that doesn't have nearly enough fanfare to "merit" a quick second season greenlight too

i think GHOST is going to be run by a prototype of their AI
and they'll probably go into the creation of them

If GHOST is island hopping, does it have a boat that it can use for transport
Or is it travelling under the water?
It doesn't seem like it would float on its own, and we haven't seen it have flight yet

Normally I'm not a big supporter of revenge
But if the revenge is against a violent AI piloting a mecha, I think there's some grounds for exception

GHOST needs to be punished for abandoning humanity.
Robots shine when they have living pilots!
An AI on its own piloting a mech lacks soul!
Unless the AI's body is the mech, sometimes that's good, but GHOST is soulless so far so it needs to die.

Also Gashin might be seeking vengeance, but it's about as healthy a vengeance as one can get
He's relying on his friends and the support structures around him and isn't letting the stress of the opportunity go too much to his head

I think his argument is valid for the end goal of the program
An internment at a marine institution would probably suit Eiji and Kaoru best
They would get more out of it than most others would

That was really nice
This show has gone places I wasn't expecting at all
But it's been a lovely blend of kindness, sentimentality, and character growth
This is another home run on P.A. Works' part in my books
Up there with Shirobako and Hanasaku Iroha

I've been really happy with it.
It's really a beautiful show.

For some reason, I teared up when Fuuka was talking about Ban-chan.
I wonder why?

this has been a pretty good show

They're pretty deep on the feminine side of things

There's something really charming about how earnest they can throw themselves into music like this

This whole sequence feels like a final episode

It's an anime original production so it's not like there's an LN volume or something for this to be an arc-end for
The writers just seem to have a preference to set their story to acts
Which is kind of neat

Aletta's more the main character of the series in that a lot of the conflict or scenes are seen through her eyes
