Death Note could really be a bit campy at times but I think it at least could keep suspense and tension
This one doesn't have nearly as much in that aspect, but it also doesn't really try to be an action series or present much of a mystery

Like Nagi was a close friend to Yuito but Naomi and Kasane were effectively sisters

I still feel like this show had way too many plotlines going on
idk how they'll resolve everything

Yeah, there's still the whole thing about the people on the moon and what they've been up to in the centuries since trying to return to Earth
Plus ending the threat of the Others entirely that they kind of dangled in front of us last episode

In the end this is a two-cour adaptation of a JRPG-length game I think
So there's probably a lot of plot compression going on

Nope, Vanitas aired over the weekend, so we usually watched it in the first night or two after coming back from the weekend

Protecting the sea turtles is good culture
They're pretty delicate creatures, especially when young

When I was younger, everyone here was really into protecting them.
The hotels had to limit their light use if they were near the beaches and so did private homes.
But they changed all of that now, there are a lot fewer restrictions and nobody really seems to care. People don't go and watch them hatch as much anymore.
It's a shame.

At times these days it feels like people are distracted by the Big Problem of climate change that they forget about all the small problems of individual animals

I wonder if Kukuru will take the attendant transfer
It's definitely what she wants, but there is still good she might be able to do in the marketing department

The wedding proposal went off a bit better than I thought it would
I kinda expected that to be the thing they kicked the finale off with
But I guess Kukuru's upcoming split between returning to being a sea queen or continuing in her current job is a good one too

Honestly, I think marketing is a better place for her.

It's easy for me to sympathize with how she wants to be an attendent again though
She really cares for animals and derives a lot of personal satisfaction from seeing them healthy and well

But of course it's really good of the marketing department to have someone as passionate about the animals as she is on board
Not that Tingaarl's marketing seem particularly indifferent to the marine life in the aquarium but there's plenty of horror stories of marketing projects that cause more harm than any amount of improved customer base can merit
And she is good at it, or at least has the skills to be good at it with practice

It's just kind of a split between doing what you want personally and doing what you can do best where yo u're needed

she has actual marketing experience from all that happened before

Yeah, she was effectively the marketing department at Gama Gama too
