i've seen a lot of people say that kyoukai senki is boring
but idk i like it
i do think it's abnormally slow for a sunrise original mecha
it's been oddly character focused but even that is pretty slow

The mech combat when it's happening is really well choreographed
Like that fight with Ghost last episode was crazy

Maybe because they're setting up a pretty politically detailed world with the national factions and the Japanese freedom fighters, it comes off as more plot-heavy than your usual Sunrise affair
