This black-haired Yuusha is going to be a problem
She's got a vanity which makes her volatile
Sonoko's ancestor might be a fair bit cold-hearted but she's also got the proper mindset for a hero

Though I guess her circumstances make her very likely to be fucked up hah hah

she's definitely not mentally well
i wonder what's gonna happen

I wonder if public backlash like this is why the Taisha worked so hard to create almost a religious fanaticism for the Heroes by the time Yuuna and friend are doing the job

This flashback's Yuuna and Sonoko are proper heroes
This girl probably shouldn't have been picked to be a hero
But I guess they had to work with what they've got

She's got a figure of what looks like an Assassin's Creed protagonist on her shelf
She was probably prone to being a bit of an edgy person before becoming a Hero

maybe she's the toga

with less grit

Her outbursts seem a fair bit more violent than Togo
Plus she seems to be a bit of an otaku, with how she plays games and has an unhealthy fixation on social media

LiSA is singing it of course, but the instrumental and production screams Kajiura

It's interesting hearing her produce an anisong that's not sung by Kalafina
But since Kalafina and Kajiura aren't working for the same label anymore maybe they can't easily work together anymore

I believe it's a multimedia project, so there's a game in the setting being released or developed alongside the anime
Although I think it's just a mobage, so the visual design is wasted a bit on it

the monster is kinda scary looking

It kinda reminds me of MonHun's Khezu
The way it's textured and has no eyes

When I was first reading the premise for this setting I thought it might take a bit more inspiration from Lovecraftian elements
The way it's a strange world underneath Antarctica reminds me of At The Mountains Of Madness
And strange diseases that can mutate people isn't too off the Eldritch path
But it seems more like a standard alien world

Yeah, we saw one human turn into a monster at the top of the episode

Instead the way they dive into a dungeon filled with horrific creatures and have to scout the area out and return to their extraction point kind of reminds me of GTFO

As expected, watching this on an empty stomach is a nightmare

Imagine being the cool witch aunt who all your nieces and newphews love because you take them to strange new worlds and feed them unheard of food

being able to sample the food of another world is probably really nice

More so for these people though since they're accustomed to pretty isolated culinary cultures, it seems like
Like we've seen people from European-like, Japanese-like, and Arabic-like cultures, but it seems like their respective cuisines don't meddle much
But the restaurant has all the amenities of the modern world so the Master can mix cuisine from all over the world

It's like that one screencap I've seen in the past of a post that says something like "A single Doritos chip has more nacho cheese flavour on it than a European peasant would taste in their entire lifetime"
